This stuff is fairly solid but not exactly exceptional. It’s got a citrus and pine hop character to it. It’s a bit sweet and syrupy but nothing obnoxious and quite biiter in the finish. Tastes like an IPA. john44 (3392) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2017
Keg Half Pint at White Horse American Beer Festival 2010, Parsons Green, London in July 2010 - Pale Golden in colour. Very Hoppy; aromatic piney oily resinous hops, spicy. Very Fruity; grapefruit and orange citrus. Malty backbone; caramel, sweet malts. Piney citrus hops over sweet malts. Dry bitter citrus hop finish. Very drinkable. Liked this a lot. Nice IPA! Pours clear orange with a large off-white head. Smells tropical citrus. Taste is bitter, citrus, and hits of pine. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and average mouth-carbonation, Odell IPA finishes with a lingering bitterness. neontb (70) - - DEC 25, 2016
Can’t believe I’ve never rated this. Probably my go to colorado IPA. Always clear appearance with good lacing, odell whirlpool system helps with that. Awesome citrus & pine aroma, hop forward taste, with some nice malt sweetness backbone. Clean finish with odell house yeast. One of the best IPA’s in colorado (if not the). A solid go to every time. Doug odell is a genius. Andrew196 (1991) - Katy, Texas, USA - NOV 26, 2016
Bottle to glass - pours a rich copper-gold, thin white head, lingers in a wispy fashion, cascading lace. Aroma is juicy fresh hops, simcoe? Nice citrus breadiness to it. Sharp carbonation on the tongue. Malts on the tongue are toasted grain. Very balanced, grapefruit, pine resin, traces of lemon, good stuff!

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2017 Bought this beer on a lark. Had never heard of it but it came from Colorado so I thought, why not? I enjoy New Belgium. A nice pour, a darkish yellow. Okay smell from it, no real promise given. Hop central, of course. Pine, finishes with a not unpleasant but rather slight sweetness. Not nearly my favorite IPA but I do enjoy it. I am sure I will access this one again nj_lee (43) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2016
Out of a can, into a tulip. An excellent IPA style, without any clever gimmicks and such. Good colour and head, lovely IPA hoppy aroma, and a great bitterness without being overpowering.

Tap at Old Chicago. Golden body with a creamy white head. Orange peel, honey, dank and a malty waffle cone aroma. Flavor opens with a moderate sweet bread flavor that turns to a balanced orange bitter finish. Medium body with a fizzy feel. seuinoz (276) - Glen Ellyn, Illinois, USA - OCT 7, 2016
Aroma of hops. Light brown in color. Taste is hippy with hints of pine needles. Sits good on the palate. Fresh taste of hops. Doesn’t have a alcohol burn. Overall a very well example of an ipa rosenbergh (11793) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 6, 2016
12 oz bottle. BB 12/22/16. (Chambers Liquor) Aurora, CO.
Clear golden color with a big foamy white head.
Pine needles, pine, candies, some sweetness, caramel malt and mild bitterness in the aroma. The flavor is piney hops, mild bitterness, candies, sweetness and malt. Quite typical American IPA. Drinkable.
