Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

Bottle to snifter. Aroma is earthy and floral spurce. Appearance is clear golden orange with a frothy head that lingers. Taste is citrus and honey bitterness. Palate is chaulky and dry swallow. This is very nice brew with a well balanced bitterness. Check it out.

Pours a cloudy orange / golden color. Aroma of grapefruit, lavender, pine, outdoor mountain air. Flavor is citrus and floral. Slightly bitter hops up front with a sweet and tart grapefruit finish. Has a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Nicely balanced IPA. Well done.

Pours deep orange with white head, aroma is nice orange, lemon, and grapefruit hop character. Taste is nice citrus up front smoothly leading into some biscuit with a nice bitter finish. A bit lacking in hop character up front, but overall a very nice IPA.

Sampled at brewery. Clear yellow/gold, frothy white head. Aroma of grapefruit and other tropical citrus, floral, some bitter resin and grass. Taste is floral, orange, sweet and then finishes bitter. Medium body, lively carbonation.

arondee (601) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - APR 26, 2010
Pours a nice yellow color with a thick white head. Aromas are all hops, pine and citrus from what I can tell. The taste is bitter as expected with mostly a piney, slightly citrus taste to it. Pretty decent IPA and definitely the best beer I’ve ever had from Odell.

Pale golden pour with a tight, creamy white head. The nose is really very bright and fresh. Lemon peel, lime and a bit of grapefruit along with a touch of tropical fruit as well. Fresh, zesty and very, very, inviting. Nothing overly complicated, but it is a great expression of the hops they use. Citrusy, fresh and absolutely delicious. This is very tasty, tasty IPA.

Terminus (3683) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 9, 2010
bottle-i have had this beer a few times and had mixed feelings about it. Its decent, but not a very complex IPA-pours bright orange with a soapy/sudsy bathwater head. big floral and citrus nose-pineapple and orange. flavors follow suit with these flavors. very little malt presence, but makes this beer overly sweet at times. not bad, but not overly complex. needs some piney hops to dry this one out. palate is highly carbonated but not detracting-not offensive on the palate. just a bit spritzy. decent but not world class ipa
