Poured a golden/orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma is touches of citrus, spices, sweet malts. Hop aroma subtle, but full of hops. Flavor has notes of caramel, touch of grain, full flavor of hops. malrubius (2861) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - NOV 26, 2009
12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Pale hazy yellow orange with lasting head and lace. Extremely aromatic grapefruit and pine perfumy hops. Mild vanilla grapfruit with assertive piney grapefruit perfumy finish. Very assertive complex aromatics and citrus pine hop combo without excessive bitterness. Excellent. Bottle, Beers of Europe. Superb tasting, aromatic and very orangesque in flavour. Very fresh, hoppy, beautifully balanced and smooth, with just enough tanginess. Classic RSRIZZO (1986) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - NOV 8, 2009
Had at the All Colorado Beer Festival in Colorado Springs on 11/7/09. Color is a deep gold with good carbonation and a thin tight head. Aroma is a hoppy citrus scent. Starting with a medium body it goes down easy with a crisp feel. Finish comes on with malt and mild caramel then a slight floral hop flavor and citrus. After taste is bitter with a mild citrus. This is a very good IPA with well balanced flavors and a nice mild citrus.

Crushed with some dudes from Oskar Blues and CaryTheDude. Piney hop aroma. Nice hop bite with caramel and crystal malt backing. Just an overall solid IPA. doomfistinc (82) - New Mexico, USA - OCT 9, 2009
Bottle. This is standard fare for a couple friends of mine who bring it over constantly. Can’t say much for the aroma other than hoppy. Hoppy all the way through, smell, taste, aftertaste. Definitely a quality beer. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - OCT 6, 2009
12 oz bottle. Whoa! Damn this is nice. Also- thier entire lineup at GABF was just outstanding. Pours a deep golden clear, nice carb, thin and lasting sticky head and killer lace. Aroma is just a punch of fresh resinous as hell piny minty sappy, citrus, and weed-like hops- I wouldnt even say citrus- just weed. Flavor is resinous and just loaded with nice fresh big alpha hops, prickly minty ganja like, very low malt, with a great drying prickly feel in the back of the tongue. Crazy good for a standard IPA! I love it. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 21, 2009
Dark yellow colored with cloudy appearance. Medium sized yellow head. Extremely rich peachy hopped aroma with lemon and pine, thin toffee also comes up. Medium bodied. Flavor is rich too with same peach-pine dominating, aftertaste is well hopped with lemon and pine still lasting. Fin (10476) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2009
Bottle that I picked up from Bellingers, Jet Garage, Grove Nr Wantage, Oxon, consumed 18-09-09 Pours warm gold with a white head. The hops struggle to shine on the nose as they compete with a heady sweetness, plenty of honey on the nose. The taste lacks the crisp hoppy bite or decent bitterness, its got good flavours but the honey sweetness does tend to dominate.. A7 A3 F7 P3 Ov13 3.3
