12oz bottle from jcwatts, Cheers John. Poured a muddy light orange-amber with a small dense foamy head of light beige. Aroma of old hops, wet toast, earth and old citrus fruit. Flavor is grains, dough, toast crust, fruity esters towards the end. Medium body with bubbly carbonation and a quicker fading aftertaste.

oskart (60) - Clarksville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 2, 2016
Dark amber with large off white head. Nice lacing. Very light malty sweet aroma, carmel. Bread and carmel flavor with some piney bite. Almost no carbonation gives a smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel. Some bitter malt aftertaste, but not off putting. Good beer. Some alcohol flavor, but not a strong beer at all.

RABinCO (1511) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - DEC 8, 2015
Bottle from the Fall/Winter 2015 Montage pack. Pours a deep amber with a persistent half-inch of cream head. Aroma is roasted malts, dark fruit, sugary. Taste is a great balance between piney and floral bitterness and a great deep biscuity malt. Hints of sweet stone fruits. A great somewhat lower ABV winter ale.

Aroma: faintly malty and a little bready; Appearance: dark amber with pillowy but small head; decent lacing; Taste: nicely malty balanced with a little bitterness; better than expected; Palate: full body with creamy texture; average carbonation; long malty finish with caramel undertones; Overall: a little overly malty but a nice ale. Would buy again when in season.

Amber with small head, light aroma of caramel, taste of caramel with some mild pine hops. Very well balanced brew and light bodied making it a chggable beer. My bottle shows a 6.1% ABV but still a respectable kick level for a brew such as this. Would like to buy this in my area by the 12 packs but could only find it in a sampler pack this year.

TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 22, 2015
Pours a mostly clear deep reddish brown color with off-white head. Caramel maltiness and cereal notes, a slight nut note too on the nose; follows onto the palate. Full bodied. Finishes with mostly maltiness.

wombat23 (1665) - Texas, USA - NOV 12, 2015
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2015 12 oz. bottle. Amber in color, foamy, soapy head, nice lacing. Malt in aroma, not much else. Tastes of malt, a little bit of hop bitterness. Goes down pretty smoothly, but fairly boring.

nice amber color and an off-white colored head that dissipates fairly quickly. toasty malt notes that are a bit more clean than the actual flavor. nice malty warm winter flavor with a very slightly bitter/ hoppy ipa-type finish.
