Hazy dark amber beer. Tiny off white head. Semi dry and semi crisp palate. Usual Odell fine balance. Light malt - a touch creamy. Mild orange hop. Nice carbonated sting in the tail. It’s decent, well brewed and well balanced. And a shade dull.
Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Sweet caramel in the nose with a somewhat perfumy hoppiness. Medium body, sweet caramel, a slight metallic touc and again these perfumy hops that leave some bitterness. Basically a good Amber Ale. 150211 harrisoni (19348) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2010
Bottle from the Bottle Shop Goods Shed Canterbury. Some hop but mostly malt on aroma. Like warm thick malt. Very similar in mouth with the malts almost having a mild ginger biscuit taste to it. Tasty enough malty winter beer. Rich clear orange amber colour.
