Bottle from Brewforia. Pours copper with a 2 finger creamy off-white head. Aromas of nuts, chocolate and a litlle fruity hop. Med body. Flavor is mildly chocolate, nutty and has touches of pine and citrus. More malt than anything. Finishes almost dry. Nut oil coats mouth. At least that what it feels like. Sturdy and tasty. Bottle at the Draft House Northcote. It pours clear woody-amber, with a thin white head and moderate carbonation. The nose is subtle: wood, bread, caramel and red grape. The taste is nut, caramel, wood, hay and grass. It has a decent balance and a woody-bitter finish. Simple and fairly inoffensive. djd07 (14463) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 11, 2014
Bottle thanks to Kevin. Pours a clear amber with small frothy white head that leaves spotty lacing. The aroma is raisin and bready malt. Medium mouthfeel with light bready malt and lingering dry finish. Good.

Aroma is average malt (bread, cookie, grain), caramel roasted and nutty notes, light hops (flowers, herbs), average yeast (sweat, horse blanket, cheese) with notes of pear, butterscotch, smoke, corn/cabbage and rotten eggs. Average flavor duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness with mineral tones. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation and a chalky finish. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - DEC 1, 2003
UPDATED: DEC 4, 2005 (Draught) Pours a orangish color with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, fruit, and spices. Flavor of fruits and winter spices. Dogbrick (13003) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 23, 2003
Acquired via trade. I'm not sure if I would want to be isolated in a snow-covered log cabin for any great length of time with only this beer, but it's not too bad. Pours a standard amber color with a medium light tan head. Thin but sticky lacing. Aroma is spicy and sweet, with faint hops. Flavor contains malt and spices, but neither in good quantity. Sweet finish but it falls flat toward the end. I think a boost to the ABV would help this beer a bit. crossovert (12874) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 9, 2012
Pleasant amber ale. Something about it seems a bit lacking but im not sure what. Pleasant though.
