The beer is copper hued with a half inch of off white head. Teeming with effervescence. The aroma offers malt, grain, a hint of fruit, subtle sweetness and spice. Rather mild scent overall. The flavor is bready and sweet. Odd finish. A bit harsh and getting worse with every drink. Ut oh. Not really what comes to mind when I think of a winter warmer. Bland, unexciting, and forgetful. Cmon man.

Poured from the bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a cloudy amber color with some sediment and a creamy tan head with good retention. Its aroma featured a blend of caramel and barley malt along with some lighter grainy and grassy hops. The taste was lightly sweet and malty with a bit of coffee, along with some modest bitter and sour grainy tones. It was a fairly wet and watery beer with a lighter mouthfeel and lower carbonation.

12oz bottle from jcwatts, Cheers John. Poured a muddy light orange-amber with a small dense foamy head of light beige. Aroma of old hops, wet toast, earth and old citrus fruit. Flavor is grains, dough, toast crust, fruity esters towards the end. Medium body with bubbly carbonation and a quicker fading aftertaste.

Dark amber with large off white head. Nice lacing. Very light malty sweet aroma, carmel. Bread and carmel flavor with some piney bite. Almost no carbonation gives a smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel. Some bitter malt aftertaste, but not off putting. Good beer. Some alcohol flavor, but not a strong beer at all.

Bottle from the Fall/Winter 2015 Montage pack. Pours a deep amber with a persistent half-inch of cream head. Aroma is roasted malts, dark fruit, sugary. Taste is a great balance between piney and floral bitterness and a great deep biscuity malt. Hints of sweet stone fruits. A great somewhat lower ABV winter ale.
