COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If you’ve ever been to our brewery, you’ve likely seen the old, beat-up truck that hauls away our spent grain. That truck belongs to Lugene, who’s been feeding his dairy cows the hearty malt for over a decade. Named in his honor, Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout is brewed with milk sugar and milk chocolate. The rich and creamy brew reminds us of a cold glass of chocolate milk and our hometown "Aggie" roots.

12oz bottle from Urbandale Hy-Vee, in a Sam Smith pint glass. Aromas of sweetened condensed milk, caramel, vanilla, milk chocolate, plums and a trace of damp earth. Pours oily brown with a thin cover of fizzy khaki head and a profusion of carbonation all over the glass. Flavors of light-roast coffee and sweet cream up front and caramel and toffee mid-palate, with a moderately long semi-sweet chocolate finish and a pleasant alcohol warmth as it hits bottom. Full-bodied with respectable weight in the mouth and a slight mouth-coating sweetness. A fine beer with very nice aromatics and range of flavors to match. That pricetag is discouraging, and it's not as pretty visually as my favorite beer I this style, but certainly on the right track. Thank you Odell Brewing Company!

Wow, taste easy and creamy like a regular milk stout. The booze is well hidden, maybe too well hidden just a hint on the back. Big chocolate flavor. Most imperial stouts force you to sip slowly. Not this I wanted another sip near immediately after the last, like a good dessert.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours black with a tan head. Taste chocolate, roasted malt, smokey. I thought this was good. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
