Pours a dark brown color with a creamy light brown head. Creamy mouthfeel and semi sweet finish. Notes of milk chocolate, cookie crust, smoke, cocoa krispies, and greenery. scoth (683) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 23, 2014
Pours dark brown, black in the glass with a thin tan head, very fine lacing, moderate retention. Aromas of chocolate, espresso, caramel, grass, biscuit. Full body, smooth and creamy. Medium sweet, the barest hint of citrus, mild bitter finish, like semi-sweet chocolate. A surprisingly strong milk chocolate flavor that doesn’t overwhelm, not at all cloying. lb4lb (2587) - Austin, Texas, USA - APR 21, 2014
Pours black with a long lasting creamy, creamy head. Smell is very mild chocolate malt, and milky. Taste is milky and chocolaty with lactose sweetness and a very faint bitterness. Leaning sweet as you’d expect and it’s a touch sweeter than I’d like. Very creamy and chocolaty. Somehow a slightly thin yet creamy mouthfeel. Nice beer a great example of the style. I could maybe even see the wife liking this? Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - APR 20, 2014
Nose of chocolate and lactose combined with hints of roasted malt and coffee. A thick black pour with a tan ring and minimal lacing. The palate is moderately sweet. Chocolate, bitter coffee, cola, and lactose with a sugary chocolate finish and aftertaste. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, while an enjoyable example of a milk stout, it was sweeter than I was expecting and not as thick full mouthfeel as I was anticipating. wouldn’t want to drink more than one at a time. 12oz bottle pours with a dark nearly black body that supports a thin mocha colored head of foam. The modest aroma offers up malt sweetness, bits of smooth chocolate and echoes of sweet dark fruity esters. The taste starts with some sweetness and then it quickly picks up a restrained mild chocolate bar note before a mix of wafer thin layers of dark roasted malts and sweet dark fruity esters join in and help take this to the finish. Smooth tasting brew.

Btl pours dark murky motor oil brown, thick tan head that vanishes quickly leaving no lace on glass. Smells of chocolate, burnt sugar and alcohol as it warms up with just a hint of coffee lurking about.Tastes of sweet toffee, rich chocolate, and malted milk balls. Medium body, light carbonation, creamy mouthfeel, slightly dry and tingling light bitter finish. Wow this is a sweet stout. Pretty good beer but I was hoping for bolder body, bigger head and a chewier mouthfeel. e303 (287) - - APR 17, 2014

Dark brown pour with a one finger head that disappears in less than a minute. Aroma is sweet roasts and bitter chocolate. Taste is more of the same. It’s a sweet stout, but not much stands out. It’s good, not great. gnoff (10226) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - APR 14, 2014

Pretty close to black with a great big tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, roast, and raisin. Tastes like bittersweet chocolate and roast. Nice creamy body with mellow carbonation.
