12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Bets by date of 11/21/12A. A - Dark golden clear body. Small one finger off white head. Decent lacing and retention. S - Some grass and pine with a finish of mango and pineapple and a touch of caramel malt. Somewhat muted and plan. T - More lively than the nose would suggest. Tropical fruit forward with sweet caramel malt. Finish is peachy with some alcohol warmth. Mouth feel is medium yet somewhat sticky. O - An above average DIPA, but not one of my favorites. Somewhat boozy with a muted nose. Nice tropical fruit notes though.

Bottle from a guy on BA - thanks guy! Nice looking beer in the glass with a hazy golden orange color and a small froth of white foam. Aromatics a lacking but I have no idea how old this bottle is . . . light hop bitterness and a noticeable sweet malt backbone. Taste is dominated by sweet malt and caramel with some pine and light hop bitterness. Pretty much presenting as a lightly hopped strong ale. Stocky, coating mouthfeel. I liked the IPA much better.

Draft at Yardhouse. Delivered with a golden sheen, quite still, and a thin but solid white head of foam. This is an easy drink for 9% -- Creamy and delectable, the assertive hops coming across with an acidic but restrained character. (#4756, 9/4/2012)

Tap at Freshcraft, Denver - 31/05/12. Clear golden yellow with a small head. Big hop nose backed with grapefruit and pine. Bitter orange and grapefruit taste, pine, caramel malt, touch of booze. Medium body, smooth, moderate carbonation.

On tap at Republic. A typical big hoppy West Coast nose, along with some very apparent alcohol. Clear straw color. Well hopped and well balanced, long deep hop aftertaste. A solid imperial, maybe just a touch too much alcohol in nose and flavor. But I really liked it.

Golden haze pour with a creamy head and decent tracing. Terrific hop flavors but very well balanced. Finishes clean and not as bitter as I expected.

A golden hazed DIPA with a thick off white head. In aroma, beautiful floral piney hops, tropical fruits, and biscuit malt, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet biscuit malt with floral hops, kiwi fruit, lichee, roasted malt, warming alcohol, nice and classic. Bottle at Mondial 2012, June 10 2012.

Bottle shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike! The beer is clear and yellow, with a quarter inch or so of white head. The aroma is really pleasant, with a nice bouquet of floral, hop, and subtle citrus notes. The taste is very nice, with an impressively dry, hoppy finish. Medium bodied, the beer sits nicely on the palate. Alcohol content is impressively well hidden. Id certainly have this again. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 04-23-2011
