Sample at SBWF 2012. Almost clear golden with a small head. Sweet with a lot of hops and fruit. Also grass and some notes of malt. Pleasant crisp and bitter mouth feel. Not bad at all.

Great hoppy and pine scent. There is citrus and bitter hop flavors. The myrcenary is a tad imposing on the palate due to the style and alcohol content. The initial full flavor doesnt stick around in my mouth after a sip or consumption. Because of that I want more. This is either a negative or what makes this ale great. I would buy this again.

Hands down, one of the best IPA’s i have ever tasted. It’s my go to beer, and I frequent the bars here in Tempe that carry it specifically for that reason. Way to go Odell.

Sampled at GABF on 9/17/2010. This Imperial IPA pours a slightly hazy gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is grapefruity, fruity and sweet. A medium to full bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Lively carbonation. Lots of hop flavor without a lot of bitterness. Hides the alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
