Tap at Freshcraft, Denver - 31/05/12. Clear golden yellow with a small head. Big hop nose backed with grapefruit and pine. Bitter orange and grapefruit taste, pine, caramel malt, touch of booze. Medium body, smooth, moderate carbonation.

On tap at Republic. A typical big hoppy West Coast nose, along with some very apparent alcohol. Clear straw color. Well hopped and well balanced, long deep hop aftertaste. A solid imperial, maybe just a touch too much alcohol in nose and flavor. But I really liked it.

Golden haze pour with a creamy head and decent tracing. Terrific hop flavors but very well balanced. Finishes clean and not as bitter as I expected.

A golden hazed DIPA with a thick off white head. In aroma, beautiful floral piney hops, tropical fruits, and biscuit malt, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet biscuit malt with floral hops, kiwi fruit, lichee, roasted malt, warming alcohol, nice and classic. Bottle at Mondial 2012, June 10 2012.

Bottle shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike! The beer is clear and yellow, with a quarter inch or so of white head. The aroma is really pleasant, with a nice bouquet of floral, hop, and subtle citrus notes. The taste is very nice, with an impressively dry, hoppy finish. Medium bodied, the beer sits nicely on the palate. Alcohol content is impressively well hidden. I’d certainly have this again. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 04-23-2011

A-- Poured a golden yellow color. Very clear looking. Very short lived white head, quick fading even in swirling. Mostly film. Very little carbonation showing. S-- Tropical fruit. Pineapple, mango, passionfruit, papaya and a very faint bit of grapefruit. T-- Grapefruit bitterness with pine and mango. Still keeps the tropical element well. Areommatic in the mouth. M-- Oily, slick and creamy. lots of residual oil in the mouth. lingering pineapple, orange, and pine bitterness. Medium bodied and low cardonation. Very well put together. O-- Great mix of the classic DIPA flavors, mixed with the new tropical flavors that are seeing more and more of. One of the best Odell beers to date. Well hidden ABV and easily have two in a sitting.

Bottle at The Kitchen in Denver. Gorgeous liquid gold color, nice hops taste with some grapefruit and vegetable notes. Very nice, not too big to enjoy with dinner.

Marheb (5749) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 6, 2012
