Bottle thanks to a friend. Gold pour with a thin white head. Nose is resin, dank, sticky, wet, citrus, and florals. Great on the palate, oily hops, sticky, chewy, and a smooth finish.

Acquired in a trade and enjoyed in a Portsmouth Snifter.

A - A vigorous pour yielded 2 fingers of totally white head with tight creamy bubbles. Appearance is light golden brown.

S - Very tropical scent on the nose. Big pineapple scent. Kiwis and Mangos. I’m also getting some hint of pine resin but not much. Very sweet as well.

T - Wow. Okay, first of all, the 9.3% ABV is very well hidden. Sweet followed by piney hop resin and followed by a tropical medley of flavor. Mangos and pineapple with tangerine zest. Sort of peppery spices finish.

M - 80% carbonation on the mouth swish. Medium body. Bitter tropical finish

O - What a nice beer! Could drink a lot more of this.

This beer is delicious. Buying beer out at a bar, which I do too often, continuously reminds me that although my strangely functioning human brain considers a thirteen dollar pitcher a good deal, I should be shelling out ten bucks for a four pack of something like this brew. The aroma is intense, which is a quality I prefer in IPAs. It smells like a Wisconsin pine forrest. Awesome. The beer looks like a good beer should, which is one of these rating qualities I’ve never really understood. Fine. Tastes delicious. Well balanced between the hops and the malts, which is my own personal number one requirement for a decent ipa. Also high alcohol but I can’t taste it. Wonderful. Palate is slightly intense on the carbonation front, but that is a personal quibble that I can let go of I this case. YUM.

Pours orange-gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is strong, floral and tropical with plenty of flowers, mango, orange, slight peach, and planty-pine. Flavor begins with caramel malt and sweet fruity hops with a subtle earth and bitterness coming through. Finishes mildly bitter with grapefruit, toast, biscuits, pine and mango. Medium-heavy bodied, lovely soft mouthfeel. Very good, gentle, and yet still strong.

Pours rich blonde with a short-lived white head. Aroma is raw hops, grassy pine and grapefruit, absolutely mouthwatering. Flavor is very intense - thick sweet malt body with a lovely lemon and pith accent, which builds into a hop-tastic crescendo as it sounds out. Subtle alcohol present, with an enduring warmth and prickly bitterness. Wonderful.

On draft at O’Niell’s. Very cloudy dark yellow with small white head and excellent lacing. Aroma is hoppy and mostly citrusy. Dank. Moderately bitter with a smooth long finish. Medium bodied with slick texture. Very nicely done and quite enjoyable.

Thanks to Exiled for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma has a hint of rubber as well as some tropical fruit, bread and extremely resinous pine. The flavor is very dank and resinous, with some bread and a little bit of grass. The beer is very dry overall. Medium bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
