Pours a nice golden color. Aroma is very floral. Malty, sweet and hoppy. Pineapple and peaches dominate. Initial taste is sweet. Malty, pineapple-esque, juicy fruit gum, apricots and finishes hoppy. Quite tasty. Mouthfeel is pretty oily but not bad. The hoppiness lingers. Overall this is quite a delicious IPA. thewolf (12595) - Kolding, DENMARK - FEB 10, 2012

Clear golden to amber with a big, creamy, white head. Lovely fresh hoppy aroma with grapefruit, resin, apricot, citrus and mild doughy malts sweetness. Medium carbonation, lovely creamy and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour is elegant, very hoppy, grapefruit, red apple zest, apricot, pineapple. Clean and deliciously dry with only mild viniousness. A very good example of the less malt-forward Imperial IPAs out there. Yum.
Bottle. The aroma is world class. Something misses upon the palate however. Still amazing beer. Great stuff madvike (3264) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 4, 2012
Bottle - Pours light amber with a couple white bubbles floating around. Smell is surprisingly not pungent. Limp herbal hops, a bit of tropical fruit, and light sweet malt. Pretty understated taste with grassy/herbal hops. Pretty mellow with honey pale malt sweetness. Well-carbonated and medium-bodied. KajII (800) - Macon, North Carolina, USA - JAN 31, 2012
Bottle. The pour was a hazy golden yellow with an average sized white creamy head that reduced down to some puddled residue, which clung onto the edges of the glass and lasted throughout creating some excellent streaky lacing.
The aroma was strong of a floral hop, a grain malt and a soapy yeast with notes of grapefruit, orange and a bit of honey.
The taste was bitter and mildly sweet with a nice fruity citrus note (orange) and a hint of honey in the beginning, and then became much bitterer and had a nice hoppy grapefruit finish. The flavor lasted a good longtime letting the taste of bitter hops and a light sweet citrus flavor combine on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was just a shade beyond light in body with a bold dry texture and a lively carbonation.
Overall a very flavorful DIPA with a nice sweet fruity twist and the perfect balance of hops, which totally concealed the high alcohol content.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2012 Bottle. Pours hazy amber. Tropical (strong pineapple), citrus (orange) and floral (moderate) aromas. Tropical flavors with some pine and malt in the background. Medium body, thicker texture, with mild bitter finish. Great DIPA. Beermack (725) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2012
12oz bottle. Pours crisp amber/gold with thin white head. Real tropical fruit aroma - pineapple especially. Floral notes present too. Taste is another tropical fruit explosion with pineapple & mango at the fore, lovely hint of grass & pine as well. Light malt backbone really does showcase the exotic hop character. Not as bitter as many other DIPAs - very clean & refreshing finish to it. Big fan of this, as I am of Odell in general.

Pours a light amber with a slight bit of hop haze. Aroma is all pineapple with a touch if sweetness. Taste follows with huge tropical flavors. There is a prefect sweetness on the back end to balance out the near perfect bitterness up front.

Pours clear light amber with a egg white whipped creamy white head. Aroma of floral and citrus hops with a bit of malt. Taste is grassy up front with some grapefruit and pinapple in the middle, balanced nicely with the malt and a good level of bitterness. Its a touch muddled in the flavor, but still good. high_on_hops (809) - Burlingame, California, USA - JAN 15, 2012
A nice gold color with a foamy white head with lots of lacing. The aroma is very citrusy, with a lot of grapefruit. The flavor is tart from the citrus with a slight amount of malt on the long aftertaste.
