12 oz bottle given to me by pineypower from his trip to NC, big thanks for this one. The aroma on the initial pour was simply sick, super sweet and hoppy with notes of tropical fruit, apricot, toffee, hop syrup, slight touch of cat piss, background of grains. Poured a thicker gold body underneath a small to average sized frothy mostly white head. The body fuller and slightly chewy with strong carbonation, a bitter bite on the back end and only a very slight touch of heat on the end swallow. Flavor isn’t quite as good as the aroma as the malts become a little more obvious and more cereal and grain come out with a hint of alcohol as well. In addition there is lots of green hop cones, pink grapefruit rind, citrus, tropical fruits, toast, dry pine needles. This is one kick ass beer.

Bottle shared at Eureka. Rating #149. Clear orange color with a little white head. Light sweet citrus aroma, light grapefruit. Tongue coating hop goodness, mild aftertaste and really quite enjoyable. Really nice beer. (1893)

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Nonic Imperial Pint. Appearance: Cloudy and pale gold with thick pure white head with nice lacing lines. Aroma: Orange, peach and mango - very fresh and hoppy. Some spiciness. Taste: Fairly sweet with loads of citrusy and tropical fruit (orange, mango, peach, pineapple). Some caramel malt backing and slightly spicy and bitter on the finish. Certainly sweeter than I expected but delicious. Palate: Moderate carbonation, extremely creamy and oily body, finish is fairly dry but some of the initial sweetness still lingers. Overall: Another great beer from Odell and the second night in a row I have had a fantastic DIPA (the other was Central Waters Illumination).

Pours out a moderate orange color with a small off white head. Aroma is of citrus, and floral hops with some light sweet malts in there. Taste is much the same, lots of floral hops, some light tropical fruit, citrus, alcohol and some slight malty notes in there for balance.

Deep golden pour. Minimal head. Few large bubbles. Complex flavours that then clear out and leave you wanting more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle bought from the brewery in Fort collins and opened in San Diego into pint glass. looks like incredibly clear expensive piss (light corn if i had to label the color). white head with some extra carbonation it looks. Smells super floral with citrus as well. this beer is the reason i love hops. tastes even better with a clean light malted front followed by a round hop array finished with a pretty strong bitter bite the finishes quick leaving hardly any aftertaste. overall 8.5 of 10.

It pours a cloudy golden color into my Funky Buddha pint glass. The small white head on top is gone quicker than I would like but oh well. The nose is full of hops. Grapefruit, orange and other citrus and tropical fruit just fill your nose. The taste attacks you with fruit sweetness up front and then you start getting the bitterness from the hops. A slight bit of maltiness can be picked up in there before it goes back to the hoppy fruit attack. It’s medium in body and almost too easy to drink for a 9.3% ABV beer.

Crushed many times and finally rated. Pours a light orange color with an incredibly sticky head. Floral and subtle citrus nose. Flavor is an array of hops and citrus. Was expecting a bitter finish, but incredibly mellow and a bit sweet. Pretty damn awesome.

A little bit too flowery for me, but the abv and taste beat out the aroma. I would buy again.

Tap @ Oskar Blues. Pours a deep (mostly clear) copper with a thick off white head that left some nice lacing. Nose begins with a punch in the face of dank pine and citrus hops, caramel malt really rounds this brew out nicely. 2 thumbs up once again for Odell!
