12oz bottle, best by April 16, 2013. About 2 months old. Served at around 45F.

Pours semi-hazy amber with a two finger off-white head that leaves rings of bubbly and drippy lacing

Aroma is big time pineapple, mango, tropical fruit, floral hops, some apricot, caramel, hint of pine and orange rind. Good to very good strength.

Flavor is fruity hops, tropical fruit, mango, melon, pineapple, resinous hops, some citrus, apricot, decent bit of caramel malt, mild to moderate sweetness, good bitterness, some alcohol on the finish.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied, oily and a bit sticky, good carbonation.

Excellent Double IPA and a real treat to get to try this. Big thanks to Mark for this one. Every hoppy beer Ive had from Odell has been excellent...they sure know there way around some hops!

Bottle. Pale Gold in colour. Very Fruity; tropical fruits, including pineapple, grapefruit citrus. Hoppy; resinous oily piney and spicy, peppery hops. Malt backbone, caramel. Nice fruit/hop/malt balance. Very fruity and hoppy throughout with a dry finish; not hop extreme. Easy drinking for ABV; enjoyed this. Nice Double IPA! (2011-12-21)

Can, courtesy of DerA. Pours almost clear golden. Aroma is fruit and lots of flowers. A bouquet in a glass. Body is heavy, sweet, and with a great residual sweetness. Great balance.

Pours golden orange with a fluffy head which soon settles. Aroma is all kinds of tropical fruit like orange, pinapple and passion fruit. There is also pine and resin along with a smooth caramel note. Although very sweet tasting it is perfectly offset by the bitterness of the hops and has a fluffy yet oily texture in the mouth. This really is a classic double IPA. Fantastic beer!

Bright citrus and floral aroma, pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Slightly sweet beginning, with tropical fruit notes. This fades to a slightly astringent bitter finish, with the alcohol well hidden. Slick mouthfeel, and full bodied. A very solid IIPA.

Clear amber color with 3 fingers off white head. Explosion of hops at nose (grapefruit, orange, tangerine, orange peel), tropical fruits (mango, papaya, pineapple) and a slight caramel note from the malts. In the mouth, it starts with a huge malty backbone, then some fruitiness and a very long hoppy finish together with a nice warmth from the alcohol. Bold, creamy, full body, somehow oily texture. Overall a great great DIPA!

Minnesota Trip Beer #104. 12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Hennepin, 5/9/16. Clear copper, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of citrus hops and toasted malt. The taste is tropical fruits, citrus, pale malt. Kinda like Juicy Fruit gum. Medium bodied, very fruity and well balanced.

Lightly hazed golden color with a moderate, off-white head. Orange and lemon zest, along with a hint of pine and pale malt. Flavors remind me of wild flowers and weeds in the early spring blooming. Slightly over ripe oranges and zest join in. Finish returns with some floral blooms. Not real clean. 1/11
