COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An OBC style Oktoberfest Lager with generous amounts of hop bitterness balanced with the flavor sweetness of Honey and Vienna malts. Nicknamed "Sloth-toberfest" by our brewers due to the painfully long time to complete primary fermentation. Brewed with local CSU bar Ramskellar.

From 12oz bottle to dimpled mug. Pour is a dark orange/ amber, thick off white head. Nose is slight malt, caramel, doughy. Taste is light-medium bodied, sweet. Finishes crisp and juicy.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2017 Pours clear copper in the glass. Sweet malt notes and a clean bitter malt flavor. Overall, a nice brew. I love this time of year! Oktoberfests rule!

12floz bottle, faint bottling imprint (unreadable), $1.75 unit cost, pint glass. Ininital characteristics: copper in color with a moderate amount of head, and a sweet buttery caramel aroma. Tasting notes: Medium body, honeyed toast flavored, a tad bitter for the style, yet malt driven. Summary: Quite on point for style, even if not exactly. Good stuff that I had as a single or a six-pack before. This is something to keep in mind for future Octoberfest seasons.

On tap. Pours a clear dark amber color with a foamy head. Aroma of roast malt, caramel and bit of grain in the background. Taste of malt, bit of caramel sweetness and grain. Nice bitterness and a clean finish. Medium body, quite smooth and tasty. Nice.

Clear orange. Sweet grain and bread aroma with the faintest noble hops. Body isn't big, but the flavor is robust enough to stand out a little. Definitely underrated imo.

On tap at Sir Ben's. Pours amber with scant white head. Scent is slightly sweet honey and malts. Taste has bread and honey as well as a slight clove taste. Different than the average Oktoberfest. Not bad.

Aroma of oranges and corn. Very orange color. Starts off a bit hoppy, with corn, orange, cereal flavors. Little watery, clean finish. Meh not the best, skip!

Not a bad Oktoberfest. Bready taste malty aroma. Amber in color lacking a white head. So far one of the best Oktoberfest beers I have tried this year.
