Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity sour tart woody bretty pineapple aroma. Fruity sour tart pineapple flavor. Has a fruity sour tart woody bretty pineapple finish.

Hazy golden yellow. Not as outstanding as the sour grilled pineapple awesomeness that is The Rare Barrel Tropical Humor, but still pretty nice. Dryer and just a touch less fruit forward. Moderate pucker. There needs to be more pineapple sours in the world.

Sample at Freschcraft during the "Colorado Craft Beer Week: Ratio Beerworks Firkin Tapping!" on 03/24/2017. Hazy bright golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of pineapple, funky yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of funky pineapple, herbal yeast and bready malt. The finish is funky fruit and floral yeast. Pretty good overall.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with this one. Nice aroma of tropical fruit and funk. Flavors were similar with the pineapple coming through. Not too sour. Medium palate with a dry finish.

An okay pineapple beer. More fruity than sour. The sweetness isn’t all together balanced either. Pours light, finished slick on the tongue. Tried at the Omaha Extreme Beerfest in 2017.

tmoreau (4301) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - FEB 14, 2017
On tap at the Beer Cellar in Glen Ellyn, IL., and dispensed to a snifter displaying a clear & bright, orangey gold color, with a modest but fleeting layer of soft white foam, thin film, and light spots of lacing. The nose was ripe pineapple, slight earthiness & funk, a hint of tomato skin, and subtle sweetness, followed by some tartness & tanginess. Light to medium bodied, with a bit of complementary spritz to the effervescence, the taste was somewhat similar, retained the touch of sweetness and the nearly sour quality, and finished dry. Decent, but didn’t get the bright & juicy pineapple that I was hoping for.

crossovert (12668) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 10, 2017
Draft. Flavor is sour pineapple and some herbs, nice sourness, nice pineapple flavor.

wchesser (2072) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 31, 2016
First batch about 18 months old. Bottle says 6.5%. Massive ripe pineapple nose leaps out of the bottle on opening, then some light funk, tropical fruit brett elements as it warms. Taste is lightly sour. Flavors of pineapple, light lemon. Really clean and balanced.

SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - NOV 8, 2016
Pours hazy yellowish orange with a small white head. Smells tart and tangy. Taste is tart and fruity. Medium-bodied with a sharp texture and average mouth-carbonation, Odell Piña Agria finishes with a lingering sharp acidity.

Clareeses (90) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 5, 2016
Pours clear golden, small head, mild carbonation but robust mouthfeel, not too sour, with bread-y finish.
