COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rawah, meaning “wild place” is named after the Rawah Wilderness to the northwest of our brewery. This Rye IPA is our newest addition to the Fall-Winter Montage. It has notes of citrus and stone fruit hops. The rye spice is balanced with a hint of peach, citrus zest and pepper. This beer is said to pair perfectly with pepper crusted tuna, sharp Welsh Cheddar cheese or one of our favorites… A classic Reuben.

On tap at Albertsons. Medium golden body with small creamy head, which leaves rings of lacing on the glass. Not getting the usual funky rye sourness, comes across as a pretty good IPA, but the rye is definitely lurking in there. Taste does finish with a little spiciness and bite. Overall mouth feel is nice, kind of chewy, and slick. On the surface, straight up IPA, but dig a little deeper to find some sublime subtleties.

Btl pours a hazy golden color with a huge fluffy white head that lingers for some time leaving rings of lace on glass. Smells of citrus, pine and tropical fruit. Tastes of grapefruit, pineapple, mango, lemon pith and spicy pepper. Light to medium body, adequate carbonation, soft almost watery mouthfeel and a tongue tingling bitter finish. Well balanced easy drinking beer with nice rye notes.

Odell Rawah. You’ll feel silly ordering it (I did, anyway; I don’t know how say "Rawah") but feel great drinking it. Pour is hazy golden orange with snowy foam. Spicy, citrusy, and earthy aromas. Flavors of lemon, grass, tea-like leaves, and black pepper. Finish is bright with lingering bitterness. This would be great with pizza. Or, you know, you could be like me and crush it long before the pizza arrives. Yeah...

On tap at old Chicago in Aurora CO. Underwhelming aroma and appearance but strong hoppy taste with the perfect amount of rye. The hops are citrusy which plays off the rye uniquely. Good IPA not great, Odell is hit and miss with me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2015 Clear golden with a big off-white head with a nice amount of sticky lacing. Aroma of apricot, straw, rye, and resin. Taste is rich grainy malts and moderate bitterness. Carbonation is average; body is a smooth full medium. Pretty good.

Fresh bottle from the Fall/Winter Montage pack. Pours a pretty nice clean kind of piss gold. Not much in the way of aroma. Light rye pepper. Taste is slightly sweet, floral, pepper. Nothing special, but easy drinking.

Golden brew with decent head that smells and tastes of rye, citrus, and a hint of herbs. Pretty good IPA and with a bit more alcohol bite than I really expected by the taste of it. Would like to see this available in its own 12 pack.
