COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This time of year in the Rockies, one day can span all four seasons. Morning snow gives way to afternoon sun, sending fresh snowmelt into our rivers and into our mash tun. With a complex malt backbone dry hopped for notes of citrus and pine, it’s almost as surprising as the season itself.

A very hoppy citrusy and sweet aroma come from this slightly hazy soft red brew with beige foam forming around the sides of the glass. The taste is bitter up front with a sweet malty counter then a smooth medium bodied finish and a pleasant bitter aftertaste. A good brew.

Oscbert (1305) - Lincoln, California, USA - APR 16, 2015
Malty aroma of biscuity and light caramel pleasant light citrusy hop Pours a clear burnt sienna color with small off white head that lasts Sweet flavor of berry, caramel and bread. A bit cloying. Earthy piney hop Medium bodied with medium co2, earthy bitter finish I can only drink one of these. Much too sweet for me and the hop character doesn't do much for me ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

VeinAle (134) - Minnesota, USA - APR 12, 2015
Brownish red pour, citrus and pine on the nose. Hits with toasty caramel notes to support the profile. Moderate-light body, crisp in the mouth. Good one

Unlike everyone else I could not rate this very high... I’m not a big IPA fan to begin with but this way too hoppy and piney to even finish a bottle. I’m going to the O’Dells brewery in Fort Collins CO in a couple of weeks so this will be one to avoid!

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2015 12oz pour from fifty degree bottle into Spiegelau IPA glass. Great fluffy off-white head. Large, pillowy, and lasting. Just short of clear, nice carbonation, beautiful ruby/dark amber. Nose is nice-- a bit of malts, a bit of pine, a little floral, a little sweet. Nothing too strong. Mouthfeel is alright, though a bit thin. Taste is good. Several layers here. Strong malty base with distinct pine and hoppy bitterness on top. Some floral notes and a bit of fruity sweetness (berries?). A little taste of alcohol on the end as it warms. Overall a strong and enjoyable beer.

I don't usually like ipa's, but I do like this one. Probably the citrus. This is a keeper. :-) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, shared on TvM’s Bachelor Party NW Ale Trail Expedition. Deep red-orange, richly malty, sweet and bready with lovely ripe tropical fruit hop character, piney undertones. An excellent India Red Ale-- I liked it better than their IPA (which was also great).

Fruity aroma. Rich amber in color with a creamy head. Rather sweet with some toasty hops and a nice note of citrus. Extremely smooth and drinkable.

Red pour with a one finger tan head.malty aroma ,no hops aroma. Taste is overly sweet with very little hops flavor. Not worth the effort
