COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This time of year in the Rockies, one day can span all four seasons. Morning snow gives way to afternoon sun, sending fresh snowmelt into our rivers and into our mash tun. With a complex malt backbone dry hopped for notes of citrus and pine, its almost as surprising as the season itself.

Big grapefruit and pineapple aroma. Grapefruit and juicy pineapple taste. Slightly boozy and mildly resinous finish. Very tasty. Exceeded my expectations. High quality IPA.

Bottle: Pours a bright amber color and topped with a thin creamy beige head. Nice lacing throughout. Nose is on the sweeter side; citrus, caramel, and light pine. At first Im picking up vanilla, but it goes away as it warms. More pine in the taste, along with a healthy dose of citrus. Bready malt backer. Good stuff.

Bottle from Zipps. Pine/citrus mix aroma, light roast malt. Reddish/orange rocky pocky head. Caramel, some earthy notes, blend of pine hop and tropical fruit, some light berries. A little bit minerally in mid and final. Medium body. Nice, well-balanced stuff.

Bottle from Fyne Wines, Argyll. Dark orange colour with amber hues, clear, no head; Rather festive aromas of mixed dried stone fruits & citrus peel - almost as spiced mince pies, and with hints of sweet, nutty peshwari nan bread; Good weighty body with a bit of alcoholic bite giving impression of more alcohol than it actually has; Flavours on the palate again delivering balance of exotic and darkly spiced citrus fruits and a long lingering finish. Will drink many more of these!

Beer pours an attractive reddish amber color with a big, fluffy, totally retained off white colored head. Aroma is big with excellent sweet caramel notes and big hoppy resin and citrus. Flavor is a wonderful amalgam of sweet and bitter. I have to say the balance on this beer is delightful. Not a hop bomb, but delicious nonetheless.

Draught > Enos. I guess you can call anything an IPA these days. This is far too malty for me to be called an IPA but it is an okay ESB. One and done.
