Red pour with a one finger tan head.malty aroma ,no hops aroma. Taste is overly sweet with very little hops flavor. Not worth the effort RSRIZZO (1986) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAR 20, 2015
12oz bottle poured into a Tulip at 40°. Color is a clear bright amber with mellow carbonation and soft off white head. Aroma has a fresh hop scent backed by sweet malt. It has a medium body that give a light crisp mouth feel. Flavor comes in with mild sweet malt and white pepper then the hops jump in with a nice citrus and mellow bitterness. In the after taste the hops briefly spike which brightens the citrus, then it finishes with a lingering bitterness. Overall it’s a great brew, very well balanced. Big grapefruit and pineapple aroma. Grapefruit and juicy pineapple taste. Slightly boozy and mildly resinous finish. Very tasty. Exceeded my expectations. High quality IPA. Strife21 (338) - North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 25, 2015
Pours dark red with white head. Smell is hops, pine and resin. Taste is citrus, hops and resin. Medium body, medium carb. jake65 (3695) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - FEB 24, 2015
Bottle: Pours a bright amber color and topped with a thin creamy beige head. Nice lacing throughout. Nose is on the sweeter side; citrus, caramel, and light pine. At first I’m picking up vanilla, but it goes away as it warms. More pine in the taste, along with a healthy dose of citrus. Bready malt backer. Good stuff.
