(750ml bottle) clear deep crimson, creamy deep tan head that sticks around. Nose of Brett, oak, caramel, floral, clover, fresh cut herbs. Taste of herbs, cherry, spices, cinnamon, not tart but funky and Brett forward. NobleSquirrel (3439) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 15, 2013
Bottle picked up in St. Louis. Pours a deep brown-red with an off-tan head. Nose is really neat. Vanilla, cherry pie, crackery with a sweet and earthy play to it. On tasting, it has picked up some subtle acidity but is more barrel and brett driven. Light sweetness/vanilla with a drying brett finish. Cool beer. hopdog (13191) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 1, 2013

Tasted on 2/28/13 from a corked and caged 750mL bottle purchased at Sun Devil. Pours murky dark brown/orange with a thick tan head that slowly recedes to average lace. The nose is a nice blend of caramel malt, toffee, vanilla oak, plenty of barnyard funk, and a nice sour red wine vinegar note. The flavor is tart and sour up front, moving to the more barnyard funk, malty caramel and toffee notes, and the vanilla barrel and vinous wine notes on the back of the palate. The body is just fuller than average with filling, lively carbonation, and a long sour vinous, barnyard funk, and vanilla oak finish.

750 ml corked and caged bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a lasting amber head.Aromas of carmel, fruittiness, horseblanket, coconut, light oak and a hint of vanilla. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, horseblanket, citrus and light oak with a smooth dry lingering funky citrus finish. 750ml Bottle. The pour was a murky medium brown with a slight ruby hue and an average (1-2 finger) light brown frothy head that reduced to a thin cap which lasted throughout and produced excellent thick sheets of lacing.
The aroma was of a toasted grain malt and a funky Brett yeast with hints of caramel, green apple, overripe dark fruit (plums and grapes), citrus peel and bit of spice and a mild woody cask presence.
The taste was very malty and lightly sweet-tart with notes of caramel and dark fruit from the onset, progressing into a slightly bitter flavor with spicy sour presence and a woody alcohol ending. The flavor lasted an average time after the swallow with a sour citrus peel bitterness left to linger for just a tad longer.
Mouthfeel was just under medium in body and dry in texture with a ticklish carbonation.
Overall this was a very unique tasting brew: a bit sour, a tad sweet, a touch fruity and a nice bitter woody finish. All this working together to basically create this very tasty and memorable brew...
