Tap at Odell - billed as a hoppy wheat ale - cloudy gold - nose has a ton of citrus and tropical notes (orange, mango, guava) - soft texture - medium sweet wheat malt and light yeastiness up front - lots of tropical.centennial notes later - moderately bitter finish - simple, but tasty. jcnielsen (3412) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 30, 2012

On draft at the brewery. Pours a murky gold with a white ring and a lot of lacing. Aroma is sweet and hoppy, with citrus and wheat. Taste is crisp, of wheat, preserved citrus, and a bit of bitter hops. Lingering crisp light bitterness and some wheat. Surprisingly tasty. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 18, 2011
(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy golden body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of orange, honey, and toasted grain. Flavor of caramel malt, orange, and grain with a moderately bitter finish. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAR 6, 2011
(Draught at Odell) clearish golden with lasting fine white bubbles. Nose of bitter orange, and grapefruit it smells clean and pretty nice. Taste is bad though in comparison. Metallic, bit acrid, odd mix of wheat and citrus going on here and not in a good way. Finish is nice though, soft carbonation and creamy body. Felt like I was on a roller coaster ride with this beer.

Live rate at the brewery! Not a huge fan if this. Almost dusty aroma with lots of citrus and minimal wheat. Somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Easy drinking. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - SEP 13, 2010
Sampled on 9/13/2010 at the brewery. This blond ale/wheat beer pours a medium yellow color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head with nice lacing and good retention. A medium bodied wheat beer. The malts are cereal and grainy, no noticeable banana and clove. The hops are citrusy and a touch grapefruity. Nice carbonation. WOW, a hoppy wheat beer that doesn’t well taste like a wheat beer. Nice summer ale. Clean, crisp, light and refreshing. Slightly dry at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
