Tap at AZSBF. Reddish pour. Balsamic aroma, stone fruit, light sweet notes. Flavor is tart, fruity as hell(unripe stone fruits), balsamic, yeasty. Great stuff! dionysus (1486) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 24, 2011
Tap at AZSBF. Pour is murky red-brown with an off-white head. Aroma is tart and funky with notes of sour stone fruit, leather, caramel, and a touch of balsamic. Flavor shows the same with an additional yeastiness to round out the body. Overall body is moderate, creamy, and sour. The body reminds me quite a bit of Brute. Sampled @ AZ Strong Beer Fest. Burnt tangerine and chestnut our with a small latte head. Dark fruit, leather, brett and cocoa all kind of make their way into this beer. Sour, yet not overly so, this one is quite complex and still shows the caramel, molasses, and brown sugar of it’s old ale roots. Delicious. dcschiller (2208) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAR 3, 2011
(On draught at papago). Pours a cloudy chocolate color with tan head. Aroma is heavy vinegar and fruit! Taste is sour with vinegar notes. Medium to full bodied with creamy texture. Interesting and unique beer. I’m very happy I got to try this. Savvy1982 (1706) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 9, 2011
On tap @ Papago, as part of RBWG 201. Pours clear deep red-brown, thin off-white head, spotty to poor lacing. Nose is brandy/raisin, some real nuttiness here, oak, vanilla. Flavours of raspberry, light cherries, the raspberry character seems to sit atop everything else. Oak flavours in the finish, solid and pervasive tartness. Lovely stuff. More like this one, please!

On tap at the AZ Strong Beer Fest. Pours hazy mohagany with a thin tan head. The nose is vinegar, tobacco and unripe fruit. The taste is leather, vinegar, sour fruit and light funk. Medium mouthfeel. Interesting brew. DaSilky1 (2606) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 4, 2011
Draft@ papago, scottsdale, az. Dark pour, poor lighting, thin layer of froth. Fruity sour nose..some dark earthy fruits like fig, plum, and raisin. Flavors weren’t over the top with sourness, actually flavors take an interesting turn to vinousness, fruitiness like plum, peaches, and things of that nature...sour and bitter interplay in the back the throat in the finish..interesting, full-bodied, complexly fruity...dry fruits, dark fruits, things I’m still trying to wrap my mind around. douglas88 (9187) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 9, 2011
On tap at Papago- what a great selection they had! Pours a cloudy dark brown color with a small white head. A instantly sour Flemish like nose; malty and sweet with sour cherries and sawdust. The flavor is more dominated by the Old Ale; chocolates, rich dusty malts, some yeast, light fruit, a dry palate, but a zesty strong sourness throughout. Very interesting. I liked it a lot. fata2683 (2176) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - APR 9, 2011
