A mystic legend echoes in our brewhouse - that of St. Lupulin the archetypal hophead. He devoted endless summers to endless rows of hops, tending to the flowers and the beloved resin within - lupulin. Extraordinary oils in this yellow resin provide this dry-hopped extra pale ale with an undeniably pleasing floral aroma and clean, crisp finish. One sip of this seasonal summer ale and you, too, will believe. Smooth IPA with no aftertaste

Bottle from Craft Beer Cellar Clayton. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Herbal nose with lemongrass standing out. Citrusy hops: white grapefruit, lemon and natsumikan. Clean and crisp. Low bitterness, with a herbal, floral character on the finish. Quite solid. tmoreau (4743) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - SEP 3, 2017
On tap at John's Restaurant & Tavern in Winfield, IL., dispensed to a shaker showing a clear, orangey/gold color, with a decent layer of white froth, and patchy cling to the lacing. The nose was slightly ripe at first, with a touch of resin, then berry/cherry sweetness, pit fruit, and some citrus. Medium bodied, with good carbonation, the taste was somewhat similar, adding moderate citrus & rind-like astringency, with a bit of bitter sting, and fairly dry finish. The hops were a bit too malt mellowed in the flavor for me, but was satisfied with the overall drinkability. Docavey (96) - Lehigh Acres, Florida, USA - AUG 18, 2017
Had this from a bottle in Fort Collins, CO. Good hops balanced by medium malt, a crisp mouthfeel and 6.5% ABV. Enjoyable.

Golden copper with a white head. Floral and citrus notes. Super fresh profile. Light sweetness. It not from the malt. Void of any malt profile, really. Harkened back to the good old days of a proper pale ale. Delicious. Lacho (110) - USA - JUL 28, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2017 Pours a beautiful golden color with a cream colored head that quickly disappears. Faint aromas of resin are upfront in this pale ale. First taste makes me doubt this is a pale ale, this tastes like a very weak IPA, but surrounded by a really good pale ale. Reminiscent of North Coast’s Old Stock Ale, but in a lower alcohol content. Really good beer.
Came back for a re-rate; enjoyed this beer for what it is, a good summer beer to chase a fruity mezcal. crossovert (14134) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 22, 2017
355ml embossed bottle. Man, this stuff is old school but it is fresh and hoppy and not as malty as an neipa. So i dig it. Ronritter (875) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - JUL 12, 2017
