On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy amber with medium creamy white head that lasts. The aroma is bready malt and caramel. Medium body, toasted malt, caramel, light bitterness, good. kevinator (2231) - The Colony, Texas, USA - NOV 5, 2014
Average. Faint malt aroma with a hint of hops. Amber color. Medium weight and carbonation. English style with some nuttiness but a stronger hop finish than expected. jcnielsen (3412) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 30, 2012
On tap at Odell on 12/22. Pours a medium brown color with white head. Nutty, toffee, malty flavors. Alright, but nothing special. dnstone (3418) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - OCT 10, 2011
Copper colored with a great white head. Light malt aroma. A malty sweet amber...better than most ambers. corby112 (2804) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2011
On tap during the 2011 Small Batch Festival.
Pours a deep dark mahogany copper with mahogany edges and frothy 2 finger yellowish head. Excellent retention slowly fading into a lasting cap that leaves chunks of lacing behind.
Slightly toasted malt aroma with hints of light fruit, caramel, toffee and biscuit. Smells more complex than your average amber.
Full bodied with a creamy texture and a good balance of toasty malt and subtle hop bite. Toasted but not burnt with hints of light fruit and floral hops. Sweet with slight dry finish.

On tap during Small Batch Revival 2011. Dark rusty amber, big fluffy white head. Smells of funky, mildewy malt, pretty caramelly background. Cant get over the mildew presence. Taste had some smoked malt and typical amber ale malt, full of biscuits and toffee. Comes together nicely though. Finishes smoky yet sweet. Toffee and malty smoke makes it end with a dry finish. Somewhat odd, but interesting. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAY 28, 2011
UPDATED: AUG 20, 2011 On tap @ Small Batch Revival. Red orange appearance with a tan head. Caramel, bready, sweet malty nose. Creamy, fairly bitter hoppy, caramel malty flavor. Not too complicated but pretty tasty.
