12 oz bottle from Town and Country Supermarket Liquors, Cheyenne. Nose is chocolate, light vanilla, and a light hint of bourbon. Black with a medium, heavy lacing, cinnamon tan head. On tap. Pours a deep brown with a decent tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, woody with dash of booze. Taste of chocolate, roasted malt and grain, with trace of whiskey. Slight bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly full body smooth and flavorful. Enjoyable.

Deep dark brownish black hue under a thin light tan head. Nice chocolaty whiskeyed woody nose. Big full flavor that’s dark sweet malty with dark chocolate and light sweet whiskey, a subtle lingering warmth, and a light kiss of creamy coffee like tones. Pretty good sweet Stout though in this case I don't think the barrel aging really does all that much to enhance it. Aroma is dark malt roast and minerals. Pours black with a thin, light brown head. The aroma is potent, consisting of whiskey, oak, vanilla, and some milder chocolate. As this translates to the taste, I get a whole bunch of whiskey, and that's ok by me. Vanilla balanced with oak are happy complements. It has a solid roasted foundation, while chocolate and caramel serve as good background. Perhaps the best part is that this really isn't sweet at all, so you get the full force of the whiskey flavor. Medium to full in body, thick in texture, and average in carbonation. This was a good effort.
