I am not sure what’s experimental about this. It tastes like an American pale ale--and that is just fine. It’s very cloudy w/ a foamy white head. It has just kind of a vaguelly fruity aroma, citrus and bubblegum maybe. It seems to have a bit of a floral honey quality as well. It is a little bit sweet which brings out some mandarin orange and quite bitter w/o being harsh. This is just a little too gummy and syrupy to be really drinkable but not at all bad for a glass or two. There’s better offerings in the style but this is fine enough for me.

Bottle - pours a clear gold, ivory head, slick lace. Aroma is fresh, floral, ripe peach, some pepper. Very clean feel to it. More peach, stone fruit, light citrus and smooth cereal. Easy and straight forward, crushable.

12oz bottle. Filtered golden-tan body. Steady, attractive white head. Peachy, soft, modern hop profile. Not a lot of depth, but that seems intentional. Clean, easy drinking, well made. Good.

12 oz bottle pours hazy golden with a good, sticky off-white head. Resinous hops with a bit of a grainy, Cheerios aroma. Flavor is more grainy Cheerios and balanced with some earthy hoppiness. Clean and crisp.

Beaver (1800) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 13, 2017
12 oz bottle. Pours hazy straw yellow with a medium fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass some.

The aroma is sweet lemony fruit with some stinky resin.

The flavor is sweet candy fruit with resiny, slightly harsh metallic, hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, an OK pale ale.

Aroma is pine, spices and a hard to pinpoint hint of big body, almost IIPA. The flavor is citrus, berry/slightly sweet hops, malts, rather large body for an APA, complex tropical fruit and a bitter/tart finish.

Fruit floral aroma, looks are a light medium gold, clear, soapy head, lace. Aroma is ripe fruit and floral. Mild citrus and pepper. Some yeasty breadyness. Some metallic mineral as it warms. Same in taste, with mild malt, mild caramel, smooth creamy easy. Body seems full, medium full. I thought it was watery at first, but that’s not the case. Pretty good pale ale overall

On Tap at PreFunk Meridian Clear light golden with a lively white head. Light woody grassy hop aroma, light crisp citrusy flavors. Pretty light, even for a pale, but nice fresh hoppy flavors. Seems very sessionable for 5.5%
