Hand signed and numbered bottle. Shared in a tasting with my crew. A farly dark pour with a 1/4 inch head. Beautiful sweet and sour armoa. Brown sugar and red wine in the nose. Flavors of sour grapes, oak, and sugar. Perfect viscosity, and overall one of the best beers I have ever had. I really hope Odell makes this one more time. M: Fairly full in body, smooth, nice. rusty (1547) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - MAY 29, 2011
Shared by Boltz at RBWG. I have a numerical rating, but my notes are un-readable so I’m borrowing a bit with this one.
This one pours a murky crimson/chestnut color with a small eggshell head that left a bit of lacing. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, citrus, oak, and dark fruit. Flavor has notes of wood, vanilla, honey, buttermilk biscuit, plum, raisin, and bourbon. Just a touch of alcohol still noticeable. Holding up nicely!

Bottled 8/16/2008 - Thanks Inflatablehair!! - Bottle #1827 - Pours a transparent dk ornage with a small beige head...aroma is very creamy, vanilla, oak, caramel and brown sugar...flavour is similar, toasty, vanilla and caramel malt, very smooth carbonation, soft oak...finish is sweet and creamy...I’m a huge fan of wood aged beers, so it’s nice to see ones that aren’t masked by bourbon oak only... dionysus (1486) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 29, 2011
Bottle shared during AZRBWG courtesy of BOLTZ7555. Pour is deep hazy amber with a beige head. Aroma shows notes of caramel, butterscotch, oak, apple, pear, and light herbal notes. Flavor shows the same with additional notes of toasted coconut and vanilla. Seems to be holding up fairly well. doubleo (1432) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 16, 2008
750ml bottle. Pours cloudy, dark caramelly brown with a huge off white head, good lace. Smells sweet of caramel and vanilla with a good bit of wood character and some alcohol. Tastes sweet and caramelly malty with lots of sweet wood. Quite a bit of fruit as well, dark and ripe sweet. Very malty. Full body, over carbonated in general which ends up being pretty distracting from the beer in general. MaltOMeal (1094) - Land of Sugar, Texas, USA - JUL 20, 2009
bottle shared at July A Tasting. Pours a muddy brown with a tan head. Nose is of oak, vanilla and bourbon. Taste is same as aroma with oak and bourbon prominent and vanilla noticeable as well. Mouthfeel is creamy with carbonation and alcohol noticeable. gkost (1069) - Alaska, USA - DEC 26, 2009
