Gold color. Dusty and bitter, dry. This is not good and nearly undrinkable . some sugar in the aroma. Did not age well. cubs (10740) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 21, 2014
Bottle @ Steve’s Foco. Thanks to Art for sharing. Murky darkish orange appearance with a white head. Tropical fruit, pineapple, fresh wood, vanilla, and coconut aroma. A little goopy, thick mouth feel. Pretty fruity, mango, pineapple, tannic, light white grape flavor. A touch sweet. Not all that boozy. Fine. kevinator (2867) - The Colony, Texas, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Another great offering from the series. This had been cellared a while as I also had one about 6 months ago. I can say this continues to age well. Subtle oak and sweet malt aroma. Cloudy light amber color with a small head. Smooth and oily palate that coats the tongue. Nice overall blend of malts, fruits, oak, caramel, alcohol and a slight bitterness that added some spice. Too bad it’s a one-time thing. Maltser85 (363) - Fargo, North Dakota, USA - MAY 18, 2014
This was probably tremendous fresh, but that wasn’t the case here. Thanks to Jcoppin for the bottle share. Aroma of sweet malt and a nuttiness, almost hazelnut. Creamy vanilla notes. Taste is sweet, malty and overwhelming vanilla and oak. An indescribable nuttiness to it. Still good, just not what it was meant to be. RobertDale (6985) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - MAR 5, 2014
Bomber at a bottle share. Pours a clear amber with a nice off-white head. Aroma of fruit, malt, and wood. Taste is tropical fruit, caramel malt, spice, and wood. Nice hop presence. Nice.

Had at the BGoA Winter tasting. Aroma is malty and sweet. Lots of caramel and bourbon barrel. Pours dark yellow. And hazy. Somewhat sweet. Nice beer. freeofthoughts (688) - Raytown, Missouri, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Pours an unclear dark gold burnt orange with cream fizz. Big aroma of oak, vanilla, tropical fruits. The flavor is musty grains with a rounded fresh oak flavor and quirky tropical bouquet. The carbonation and fruits make the brew very bright, but the oak and grains make it extremely earthy and grounded which balances in it’s own way. It is pretty unique and tasty, nice lingering after taste of musty fruits and oak. bhensonb (15974) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 22, 2013
750 c&c from Wine and Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours clear orange/amber with a slight beige head. Aroma is tropical fruit. Not strong tho. Med _ body. Flavor is woody, tropical and light stone fruits, toffee, and it coalesces into oaky astringency. Pretty tasty. marcus (10873) - Sacramento, California, USA - OCT 21, 2013
Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours orange copper with a small beige head and a fruit and alcohol aroma. There is a hearty toffee flavor enhanced with lots of oak and an unusual hoppy finish, apparently the Mosaic influence. Very nice. 5000 (6900) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - SEP 20, 2013
Bottle:   Muddy in color, moderate to large foamy sandy head, nice lacing.   Syrupy sweet nose, lots of oak,
some dank candied citrus peel.   Not as sweet on the tongue, oakish, dank citrus peel and pith.   Could stand to be
sweeter, more candied to balance the slight dryness of this one.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Could stand
to be brighter overall.   The oak aging provides a nice background, but the maltiness with the candied citrus peel
needs to be a bit more bright.   Strong, yet a bit dull at times.   Decent beer tho.   Hides the 10% ABV well!
