Bottle. Pours amber orange with an off white head. Malty and fruity aroma with some light toasty notes. The flavor has lightly toasted malts and caramel sweetness, with fruity berry-like notes. Pretty good. BlackWarrior (203) - Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA - DEC 3, 2011
Pours cloudy reddish brown - gusher that slowly settled. Some paper and faint funkiness in the nose, but mostly malt, woodsy and sweet fruitiness. Highly carbonated - light to medium body w/ some good dryness in the finish. Flavors are sweet caramel and malt. Some spice like ginger and pepper. Pretty balanced. Not bad, but it doesn’t really come together for me. I didn’t notice much to suspect infection other than the gush. I tried the entire 4-pack and flavors were the same, it’s just OK to me. Pours a dark coppery red with a tall, long lasting off-white head.
The aroma is nutty malts and bread yeast. Some fruit but little or no hops.
The flavor is sweet and nutty.
OK for what it is. jw0406 (1275) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - NOV 1, 2011

Not much aroma in a brown-colored ale with just a hint of a red tint. The flavor is a red cherry and sweet apples with lively carbonation. anders37 (26625) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUN 15, 2011
