12oz bottle. Poured a mahogany color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of earth, caramel, toffee, and some nuttiness. Tastes of earthy, caramel, some bread, nuts, and some chocolate.
Bottle. Pours a clear dark amber body with a very minimal fizzy beige head that vanished quickly. The aroma is sweet and husky grain with some light dark fruits and a little bit of a burnt note. The flavor is really husky and grainy with some sweet caramel and a thinnish finish. Not a style that ever excites, but this one is especially bland. Lighter bodied with a slight cling and minimal soft carbonation. Meh, not one to seek out. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - APR 26, 2015

Aroma- Has a great roasted malt and caramel aroma.
Appearance- Pours a dark amber color with a small beige head.
Taste- Awesome flavor of roasted malt, top notch
Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate to high carbonation.
Overall- A really good beer from O’Dempsey’s, this is highly recommended.
Old rating. Not a great amber. Reddish colored. Big malts, some diacetyl, some general fruitiness, lightly bittered. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 28, 2015
12oz bottle, purchased 2/23/15 from Habersham in Savannah. Pours a kind of hazy red brown color. Minimal ring of off-white head, almost no head. Medium body. Very light carbonation. Light slick texture. Caramel malt, kind of toasty. Touch of oxidization in the nose, but not much in the flavor. Bit of dark fruit. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. An OK red ale. Not so bad, for being undercarbonated. Gachupines (1252) - USA - MAR 17, 2015
Reddish brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is slightly musty malt. Flavor is big malt with a very mild hop profile. A little nutty with some toffee and caramel. A little toasted in the finish.

Winter Beer Fest, Philadelphia: Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma is toffee, malts, and some hops. This doesn’t really have all that much hops. feels like a light amber ale. I wouldn’t immediately associate it with an Irish ale, but the characterization makes some sense. I thought it was pretty well-balanced and drinkable. Quite light, but still flavourful. burg326 (5613) - Florida, USA - JUL 25, 2014
Poured an amber red color from the bottle with aromas of malt, caramel, vegetables, and some light dyicatal. Flavors follow suit, a little off putting with some off flavors. .. Not sure about this one. JHeath99 (1680) - Warner Robins, Georgia, USA - MAY 24, 2014

Bottle. Big huge nose of diacetyl and diaper. Pours a dark red to brown. Flavor is awful and full of butter, sewar, and burnt rubber. I hope for everyone’s sake I got a bad bottle. GTAEgeek (2457) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - FEB 18, 2014
12 oz. bottle. Pours hazy brown, with a small, tan head. Immediate aroma of caramel and cardamon, with some ripe bananas, pecans, and light toasted coconut. Sweet flavor, with some light hoppy bitterness. Light to medium body, silky, and a little chalky. Overall, this is a surprisingly flavorful and tasty beer. Nice...
