Draft pint at the Prado brewpub. Very dark red with a head that’s a bit watery. This packs a nice aroma of roasted malt and the first taste follows suit. Sweet and malty, his has a solid caramel character. Bit thin. (#3722, 10/26/2009) Hangover (1136) - oxford, Georgia, USA - SEP 25, 2010
I’ll call it a copper pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is all malt with an overall earthy aroma. Nice malty flavor with some caramel, bread and some toasted cereal malts. Finish is crisp and has a lingering malty aftertaste. Pretty good. hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 16, 2012

Dark brown-red, beige tan head. Toasty and sweet malt aroma, grassy hops. Taste is sweet, grassy hops, toffee, caramel, apples, lightly bitter finish. mixmasterob (1057) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 6, 2010
Bottle, nice deep red pour with a tiny white, faded to a thin collar quickly. Aroma was nice and rich caramel malts, some sweetness, and a bit of roastiness. Flavors are straight up malty, lots of caramel malts give it a bit of sweetness although it finishes with a nice hop bitterness. Mouthfeel was decent, not watery thin but not as full as I may have liked. Not a bad local red.

Savannah, Ga - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 12 oz bottle. Dark copper pour, slight off-white head, decent lacing. Sweet caramel and toffee aroma. Flavor has some toffee and caramel notes, a hint of chocolate, some earthiness. full bodied and flavorful. Thick enough mouthfeel. Suttree (6385) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 14, 2012
It’s red. More of a mahogany, actually. Yeah. Go with Mahogany, although "O’Dempsey’s Big Mahogany Ale" doesn’t roll off the tounge as well. So, it’s very malty, with a lot caramel and molasses. Flavor is caramel and molasses, as well, plus a slight hop bite at the end. . Kind of run the mill, but not bad or anything.
