Clear dark cherry amber color with a bubbly off-white head, streaks and dots of lace. Taste semi-sweet caramel malt that grows into bread and dates as it moves to an oily carbonated finish. Loads of flavor, not always in harmony with each other. Good, not great. unclemike (3170) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - NOV 15, 2013
Pours reddish amber with a very big off white head. Aroma is earthy, caramel, roasty malt with a spicy hops edge to it. Flavor begins sweet and slightly spicy, finishes almost like a dry stout. Some metallic notes. Good balance. Body is fizzy and a bit on the thin side. polomagnifico (1202) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Bottle. Aroma has notes of cereal and caramel malts, floral hops. Medium red/amber hue with a small foamy off-white head that mostly diminished and left no lace. Flavor is lightly sweet and bitter. Palate is medium bodied with average carbonation. Overall a decent Ale.

12 oz bottle, quite a dark ruby pour, a little lacing, I’m not getting much of an aroma, no hops, no malt, nothing, boring. First sip is watery, not sweet, not bitter, not hippy. Boring. DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - MAR 20, 2011
Cloudy red-caramel color, thin off-white head. Light aromas of caramel, bread and baking spice. A little thin on a medium-bodied palate. Good effervescence. Candy/caramel flavor with a hint of metal close to the finish, which is medium-long. Above-average. blutt59 (6576) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 5, 2011

On tap at Taco Mac. Pours a clear amber with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has some light citrus hops with a good amount of sweet grains underlying. Flavor has lots of sweet grains throughout with just a hint of citrus hops. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - MAR 31, 2013
Red-amber with a tan head. The aroma is grass, toffee and a light amount of funk. Flavor is heavy on the caramel and toffee. Very dry. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
