COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The recipe may be simple, but our Belgian table beer is anything but. Delicate hints of spice mingle with banana and fruit esters to round out this subtle, yet complex beer. With its refined body and lower alcohol, our table beer makes a great aperitif but can also be enjoyed with lighter fare.

Availability: At the Odin Tap Room, Uneeda Burger, Quinn’s and Zoe’s

j12601 (10955) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 9, 2016
On tap at the brewery. Pours a mostly clear gold with a thin white head. Sweet malt and a touch of yeast on the nose fruity. Medium bodied, soft malt and wheat, a bit of light fruity malt. Smaller than the nose suggests in terms of body and flavor, very subtle. Slow musk and a bit of fruity yeast, but: mostly fades into nothing pretty quickly, just faint esters sticking around on the finish.

Great looking. Taste a little earthy and dry, but overall a great fit for a Ultra burger at Quinn's Pub.

Draft at brewery. Clear golden, string head retention. Thick golden color, clear. A thicker beer in flavor, just chewy. A bit sweet malts, but very subdued. Not estry. Thick, not refreshing but good Belgian.

brokensail (16436) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 27, 2015
On tap @ Odin Tap Room. Clear golden beer with white foam. Super phenolic and spicy nose, though there is a lot of banana to it as well. Some hint of golden apple and perhaps a slight celery root note to the flavor? Some white pepper and a whole lot of bread. Big time doughy note, but not the good kind. A bit of a let down.

commonshawn (1213) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 20, 2015
Tap at Quinns in Seattle. Orval type glass. Gold with white head that doesn’t last but good lacing. Sweet and light Belgian flavor. Thin body. Could have had more depth but solid.

TheRealMGD (555) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - AUG 10, 2012
Tap @ Parkway, billed as an Abbey Ale. Cloudy gold pour with a short white head with excellent retention and leaving moderate lace. Nose is all Belgian malt with some light spices, but very balanced. Medium body and moderate carbonation, this being the major missing element: carbonation should be fine and sharp, if not vigorous and even creamy. Bananas, a bit of bubblegum, lemon and coriander. Very refreshing and enjoyable, another solid ale from Odin. Remains to be seen what category it belongs in, but a great summer ale.
