Tap @ Duck Island. Clear red-brown pour with a minimal tan head leaving no lace. Lovely smoked bacon flavors mixed with a chocolatey sweetness that balances the carnivorous bent of this interesting ale. Medium body with light carbonation. Somehow this intense ale is sessionable. Clear brown color/ tan head. Spicy smoked meat, campfire char, dark roast malt, chocolate aromas. light to medium bodied. Good spicy smoked meat, deep roast malt, chocolate flavors- only lacking a thicker mouthfeel. luttonm (6274) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 4, 2010
Malty, smokey and dark honey. Darkest brown body. Thin white head. Big pork smokehouse, sweet ham and wet bacon. maybe some fresh green, skunky weed too. Finishes with soapy lagery sour body with subtle smoking over top. Best rauch flavor i’ve had in awhile but this is undercut by the ’base’ beer. interesting, but not really great scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - NOV 4, 2010
WABL Anniversary party. Smoky peaty nose, some caramel. Hazy dark toffee, creamy tan head. Rich smoky body and the peat notes ebb and flow into a balanced crunchy leafy finish. trevor211 (1681) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 23, 2010
On tap at the Brouwer’s Washington Beer Fest. Pours a dark cloudy brown. Smells - get this - like bacon. Only slightly meaty/smokey in the flavor, though. Definitely drinkable, but... meh. It’s a bit dilute, and I was never a big fan of these smokey brews anyway.

By far the best Odin beer made yet. The nose is sweet and smokey with salty meat notes, roast, and some chocolate even. Pours muddy brown with a creamy off white head. The flavor is moderately smokey, lightly sweet, notes of roast and chocolate, salty meat/smoke. Don’t really get the bacon, just the salty smoke. An interesting enjoyable local beer. Please keep making good beer like this Odin. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - OCT 12, 2010

Dark brown in color, clear with a thin head. Nice dark roasty malt aroma. The hops added where enough to add floral flavors. As for the bacon it is light in flavor just in the finish. Found out this is cooked bacon and they are only looking to add a light flavor to this beer.
On tap at TCBF, pours dark brown. Aroma and flavour of smoke, bacon and roasted malt. Interesting experiment.
