[ As Odin Thors Equinox ].
[ Courtesy of the London Crew ]. Clear medium to dark brown - orange amber color with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, candy - caramel, moderate hoppy, dusty. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, caramel, dusty, sweet malt, candy - licorice sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bomber. Clean carmelly aroma. Has a great flavor that for being a 9% beer does not get overwhelmed by the alcohol. I think this would be a great keeper for a winter warmer. Christian (13664) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 21, 2014
At Borefts Beer Festival 2013. Hazy dark amber with a small off-white head. Malty aroma of caramel with fruity notes and vineous alcohol. Sweet malty and fruity flavour maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - FEB 15, 2014
Bottle. Pours a fairly cloudy darker brown color with a moderate tan head on it. Nose is pretty complex and interesting... nose is a little sweet with some raisin and fig in there as well as some rock candy; I also get just a hint of some more savory spice (pepper?) upon further sniffs. Taste is sweet with dark fruits in there, and feels a little heavy. Decent brew.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2016 Hazy chestnut colored with a cm of tan head. Aroma is a bit faint, but plummy, with some spices. Taste is the same, but with cocoa notes, and is somewhat reminiscent of a Christmas pudding. This is basically a dubbel recipe that ups the alcohol, and doubles down on the special B and dark candi sugar type flavors. $6/22 corpsuckle (101) - Washington, USA - JAN 11, 2014
I really enjoyed this one... Lots of Belgian spice and sugar with deeper flavors and maltiness. As it warmed the flavors of fig and raisin really showed through, but it also approached cloying sweetness. I'd like to investigate some food pairings with Odin's beer as their slogan suggests... Next stop, Odin Brewery! bmerz (741) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - DEC 27, 2013
Bottle fairly new. Pours hazy brown with some diminishing head and lace. Aroma is fairly light fresh toasted barley, almonds, figs. Flavor ads a strong cocoa note while leaning molasses sweet with only very moderate earthy bitterness. Feel is viscous and body is heavy with very little carbonation. It’s pretty innocuous and nice though too heavily sweet without counterbalance or distraction to be enjoyably quaffable. dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - NOV 25, 2013
Bottle @ Borefts. Aroma is roasty molasses, liquorice, burned caramel. Flavour is big caramel and molasses with some roast and liquorice. Decent. harrymel (1551) - Spokane, Washington, USA - NOV 17, 2013
Pours dark honey with copper when lit, then there’s a fleeting etched surface of light tan foam. Really light and flat looking for the style. Smells initially like the inside of an empty black olives can, then some sweet malt, a little bit of banana - not a particularly enjoyable nose. Flavor is booze, bitter, sweet malts, some banana, really boozey and chemical. Thin and lowly carbed for the style. This is not really firing on many/any cylinder for the style.
