Bottle at Syb Pig Club share. Small snifter. Pours a orange-brown with an ample lasting head and some lacing. Aroma is malty, caramel, hay, sugars, and some dark fruits like figs and plums. The taste is caramel, spices, dark fruits that are over-ripe, rum barrel, and dark candied sugars. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Finish is candy sugars and rum barrel.
On tap at Odin brewing. Pours out a dark amber topped with a tan head. Nose is belg candy some spice and a little pit fruit. Taste is more of the nice sweet pit fruit some spice and a touch of belg candy. AnokaBrewer (201) - Anoka, Minnesota, USA - MAY 14, 2017

Has an amber-brown colour. Bubbly head. Crackery, lightly toasty nose. So it looks and smells nothing like a tripel. Sweet, toasty, just a light ester note. This has no particular Belgian influence, but when you adjust to the fact that youíre drinking a strong Brown Ale, you realize itís pretty good at that. On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark amber with creamy white head that lasts. The aroma is dark fruit and fig. Medium body, figs, licorice, toasted malt, boozy, very good.

Clear dark amber pour with large off white head. Aroma of caramel, sugar cane, fruits and slight hops. Taste of toffee, caramel malts, slight fruits and hops on the finish. Full bodied, fizzy carbonation, cloying syrupy mouthfeel, hop extract. On tap at the brewery. Pours a deep tawny amber with a thin tan head. A bit of burnt Belgian malts in the flavor. Some lightly alcoholic malt syrup sweetness, not too bad, not estry. On tap at the brewery. Pours a deep tawny amber with a thin tan head. Big sweet malt on the nose, but itís nearly blown away by the alcohol and warm cherries. Big and sticky. Medium bodied, sticky malt, warming alcohol, cherries, toast, a bit of yeast. Big warming alcohol into the finish, warm and sticky again, more cherry notes. The moment they stick this in a barrel with some cherries, someone is going to geek out about it. That someone is probably not me, since Iím not about that life, but someone is, and theyíll love it. 22 oz bottle poured. Pours a reddish brown with a ton of foam head. Candy sweet caramel malt with a bit of maple. Soft cherry, plum and other dark fruit flavors throughout. This was a little rough at first for me, but it grew on me a ton as it went. Bit of an earthy flavor and dusty finish. Very unique. Not bad.
