Very pear champagne like aroma. Bubbly and and bright head. Has an ammost wheat like color. Tastes like it smells. Pear and floral taste. Really summery for an ale but balanced. Sweet and bitter at the same time. I want to eat this with fruit, crackers and goat cheese. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Bottle:   Hazy golden, thin to moderate spritzy white head, little lacing.   Sweet melon, honey, and whole wheat breadiness on the nose.   Sweet melon and honey up front, soft pale breadiness.   Not as floral or
prickly on the tongue as I like, its also not as mealy as so many other americans.   Smooth, but not too heavy.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Clean finish.   Wished it were a bit brighter, floral, and bubbley, but
better than most American examples. BlackEyePA (573) - USA - SEP 25, 2012
Pretty good. Not too sour, nice and citrusy w/ lite spice and fruity hints here and there. Summery, unfiltred, dark orange full color with a decent aroma and taste of funky outdoor earthy flavor from the yeast but still bright and flavorful. anders37 (26726) - Malmö, SWEDEN - AUG 26, 2012

Bottle @ Scott’s Summer Saison tasting. Thanks so much Scott! A bit hazy, light yellow appearance with a fluffy white head. Clean frefreshing, lightly spicy, lemon citrusy aroma. Delicious orange citrus fruity, acidic carbonation, somewhat spicy flavor. Quite nice. crosamich (433) - Twin Falls, Idaho, USA - MAY 24, 2012
kinda flat for me. Some mild yeast character that you could maybe convince me was peppery. Not a bad drinker but kind of ’meh’ for me MacBoost (1914) - Victor, New York, USA - MAY 20, 2012
Shared by someone at the Monte’s Krown tasting yesterday. People were tell me that this beer was going to blow the guava grove that we just tasted away, but this wasn’t the case for me. Pours a cloudy, hazy straw with a white head. Nice, dry finish with a touch of spice. Clove heavy. A decent example of the style, but not as good as guava grove at all. Not even close. ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - APR 12, 2012
A - Pours a clear golden-orange color with a finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some light lace.
S - Aroma is a mix of wheat, Belgian yeast, bubblegum, banana, clove, a hint of pepper, and some farmhouse smells.
T - Starts off with some wheat, lemongrass, some Belgian yeast esters, and a bit of lemon. Through the middle, some banana, clove, and other light spices come through with some stronger yeast flavor. The finish is a mix of banana, Belgian yeasts, spices, and a bit of bubblegum.
M - Medium bodied with moderate lively carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry estery finish.
D - Very drinkable. Nice balanced and smooth Saison. I could really drink a whole lot of this one. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - APR 9, 2012
Cracked open last year in celebration of the Dallas Mavericks winning the NBA title.
The beer pours a hazy straw-yellow color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of wheat and spices in it, as well as some orange and lemon notes. I also get a little bit of light tartness. The flavor is different and quite complex. I get some wheat and lemon notes, as well as some white pepper, banana and clove notes. High carbonation and medium mouthfeel.
