Bottle. Clear light yellow pour, lasting lacing and a light lemon/hay aroma. Flavor is light lemon, very effervescent, a little bit of flowers and herbs. Love this stuff, tasty.

Bomber. Poured cloudy, paler golden with a towering cap of sticky white head. The aroma picked up meaty bread and a pinch of honey surrounded by floral notes, peppery spices, and a little citrus zest.. nice, but maybe too aggressive. The flavor found the same meaty bread and honey plus some peach and apricot skins surrounded by white pepper, cloves, and tangy wheat.. more sour and spicy on the strong finish. Medium-bodied, with very filling carbonation on the palate.. nice spicy notes, but everything seemed overdone, and it was not refreshing.

Didnt realize this company had already gone out of business. 22 ounce bottle purchased over a year ago at Holiday Wine Cellar ($5.99). Pours a clear honey-amber hue with three big fingers of fluffy pillowy white head (which only very slowly recedes). Aroma of yeast, banana, lemon, wheaty bread, and a slight funk (damp basement). Flavor of yeasty bananas, bready malts, grape, light citrus, and some peppery spice. Dry and lightly sweet finish. A really great version of the style...too bad this brewery isnt around anymore. Dry peppery saison with some solid crackery malts, and fresh herbs and grassy hops. Shame this isnt still around!

22 ounce bottle that poured a nice gold color. Aromas of orang, wheat, apricot, and grass. Flavor was a sweet orange, with lemon zest, wheat and a touch of spice. Very refreshing beer.

Well funked aroma, pear base, sharp cheddar accents. Shimmering golden, enormous white head. Lemon and pear flavor ending in lemongrass. Alcohol well concealed. Rather milquetoast, but good.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2013 22oz Bottle. Sean, thank for sharing a great Saison that Ill probably never get to try ever again! After having drank innumerable funky or sour Saisons, theres something really refereshing about biting into this one. It probably doesnt hurt that its damn damn good. The aroma is clean and conditioned with fresh pale fruits and lots of nice, controlled Belgian spice. Flavors emit similar, with really refined, smoothed, and matured combinations of peppery yeast and crackery malt. Super light, fresh, and fluffy. One of the better straight American Saisons Ive had for sure.

Sent to me by a kind trader in Norcal. What a pleasant extra to get from a now defunct brewery. Pours a foggy orange juice, really fluffy white bread dough and cupcake frosting. Mountains of slow moving lacing that hovers over a foggy pulpy body. smell is slightly floral, mild perfumes of lemongrass and bamboo. Taste is little bit of lemon, mustard seed, and arugula. Taste is quite good, the mouth if fizzy but not quite effervescent. The flavors hold pretty decently, and I think this is a respectable saison. Very dinkable, simple but above average. Sad to see this one go.

Bomber big thanks to Ynot2. Batch 003 I suppose.
Appearance : Slightly hazy yellow with a big fluffy and creamy white head. Long head retention. Some lacing.
Aroma : Peppery with awesome yeasty phenols and light funk. Light citrusy tartness with herbal notes. Nose is just awesome.
Taste : Yeasty with peppery notes. Herbal hops with peppery finish. Light citrusy notes. Finish is quite dry but with a lingering malty "roundness". Carbonation is generous and fluffy.
Overall : Very nice citrusy notes with light funk and great yeast. A tiny bit too spicy for me on the finish. Nose is heavenly. Head retention seems infinite. Gets a bit better with time. Carbonation fades which is a shame but spices fades a bit too which is nice.
