Sampled at an ESBLS tasting, thanks to Hayduke. It poured a hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma was of lemon citrus, clove, coriander and some malts. Bottle at Scott’s Summer Saison Tasting 2014. Pour is hazy lemon with a big white head and good lacing. Straw, lemony, biscuit, corn, husky, basil, and herbs in the aroma. A: Butter yellow ale with brilliant clarity. Single finger, loose soap sud foam head splits in half to leave a thick quilt of the same. Near sheet lacing.
S: cloves, sweet wheat, hints of white cherry. Grain backbone. Nice.
T: Mild yeast on this particular farmhouse. Slight bitterness on the back end. Alcohol evident here. Hint of copper. apple meats.
M: Medium, spritely, dries the palate.
O: well done, but not really THAT good. All the tastes are subtle. Nothing particularly unique in this.

Bottle thanks to somebody, rating from my backlog. The look is cloudy, thin, golden in color. The smell is fruits, sweet, apricots, yeast, floral, and tropical fruits. The taste is sweet, fruits, and yeast.

Batch 002 bottle.
Aroma is fairly fruity with a ton of pear and some light red apple and citrus notes. Faint light peppercorn phenolics with some light cracker malt and a bit of a honey character.
Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange with a big white head that has fairly average retention. Slight film remains on the edges. Almost no lacing and no legs.
Flavor has a light biscuit character but with a medium honey character. Moderately strong pear and red apple esters with faint citrus and faint phenolics. Some medium light bitterness in the finish. Lingering honey notes, pear and crackers.
Mouthfeel is medium light to light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall this beer has definitely taken a hit due to oxidation and had not aged well. It lacks the crisp clean malt character it had when it was fresh. Bottle from South Bay Drugs: Created a decent layer of foamed head while the liquid was a glowing golden blonde. Aroma is a spicy and soapy combination of Belgian yeast, pepper, coriander, and a faint scent of tangerine or juicy apricot. The flavor is tasty with a well balanced profile of Belgian yeast and grassy hops that demonstrated a high quality saison without negative side effects in regard to flavor. Bottle. Sticky pear, sour fruit and wheats nose. Medium-high carbonation, quite champagne-like. Fruity, snappy, clean taste, with a touch of bread. Hops present but not over-prominent. Peppery aftertaste. Nice and fresh.

Pours a hazy pale yellow/orange with a huge foamy white head...very lively...nice retention. Aroma has notes of honey, tropical fruit, and spice...mild clove. Flavor has tangy fruits, notes of leather and spice...significant grapefruity/rindy bitterness.
