2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can: Dark brownish red color, pours decente head and fruity sweet caramel tones come through. I was quite positively surprised by this NA.
Bottle pours a clear light copper with no head or lacing. Aroma is a bit odd, very light, malty, bread, urine. Watery mouth feel. No bite on the tongue whatsoever. Taste is weak, mostly hard water flavor. Aftertaste is white bread and apple juice. Fairly unpleasant. Kleg (445) - The Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 2, 2017
Clear gold pour with an amber head and decent retention. No lacing. Flat mouthfeel. Light caramel flavor in a beer-ish base. Actually not bad for a N/A. Bacchus66 (999) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 25, 2017
12oz bottle @ home. Pours bright clear copper with a macro-esque, persistent white cap. Faint if any aroma. Flavors vaguely malty. It’s not so much anything off-putting about this beer, it’s just got no structure or body, and way too mild, not unlike water. Anyhow, there are many better options if you draw the DD card.
Ok, so checked that one off... Senap (748) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - JUL 3, 2017
På flaska. En aning mörkare, typ bayersk folköl. Bra och förvånansvärt smakrik för att vara alkoholfri. crossovert (14128) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 18, 2017
Blind tasted with 2 other NA beers. Beers were: 1. O’Douls Amber 2. Coors Non-Alcoholic 3.
Penns Best NA. All 3 raters rated the beers 213.

355ml twist off bottle. Clear amber,, aroma is basic dark malt, water, and basically nothing. Flavor is metallic raisin water.
Post tasting thoughts:
Awful shit. Fuck ABInbev.
Pours clear amber, small off white head. Aroma is oddly candy like, more sugar daddy than the usual malt flavors. Taste is sweet candy, brown sugar, not unpleasant. Vaguely like cream soda. Light to medium mouthfeel. oobawa (1858) - Tennessee, USA - APR 26, 2017
Gonna be honest: only reason I tried this thing was to knock out a "Low Alcohol" entry on the styles list, so it’s not like I was expecting anything more than what I got. But, really, O’Douls Amber isn’t the worst beer I’ve ever drank, better even than most the ABV macro-lagers that actually have alcohol. Nose is straight macro skunkiness, but the pour’s okay, and the taste has an unexpectedly estery apple vibe, even if it never really amounts to more than a brief flirtation with discernible flavor. Sparkly texture is bearable. Overall, we’re talking a beer that’s far, far, far from being good, but it could be worse. At least it’s not Bud Light Platinum, right? francedroy (1) - New York, USA - APR 20, 2017 does not count
Amber version is better than the regular but it is hard to find out in the world. 3fourths (9367) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 15, 2017
From bottle it’s mostly clear burnt gold with a short off-white head. Aroma impression is caramel syrup, dirt, leather, rotting apple, stale cigar. Light bodied with fluffy effervescence before a jarring sour turn mid-palate before finishing sweet and dirty. ChadPoole (479) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 5, 2017
Pours clear amber with a white head. Sweet malt and carmel aroma. Taste same as aroma but pretty watered down. Not enough flavour or body for me.
