COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
West coast pale beers are now famous the world over (with beer geeks like us anyway). This is our example of the style. A simple but carefully considered malt base allows the huge hop additions to shine. With a resinous mouthfeel from all those hops it remains very drinkable despite being a hop bomb. Citrus and sunshine.

BlackHaddock (7583) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 2, 2017
500ml bottle on 24th July 2017: Shrewsbury monthly bottle share in Chez Sophie, cheers Mike for this one. Misty golden orange in colour, white topping. The nose had plenty of fruit esters with a citrus lead, mainly orange like. The taste was also leaning towards oranges in flavour, some piney tastes also, liked it.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, July 17, courtesy of Mike. Thanks Mike. Pours a hazed orange, small foamy white head. Fruity hop aroma. Taste presents quite a nice fruity West Coast hop character with additional orangey citrus sticking its neck out. Refreshing.

Underneath fresh orange and spicy orange. Touch of melon led tropical fruits. Clean crisp finish, bitter spicy linger.
