Deep hazy amber colour with medium tan foam. Aromas of citrus like bitter orange peel and grapefruits with notes of light spices and maybe herbs but orange peel and hops dominate aromas. Palate, medium body with slick texture but thin too, leaving roasted malt finish. Taste, bittersweet of oranges, grapefruits and bitter citrus as well as with a touch of burned and roasted malts with a bready backbone. Overall, not bad good beer just expected to taste more of the herbal aspect of the beer but it has been overpowered by hops in my opinion giving it an IPA feel. Fles geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een amberkleurig bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een kruidige smaak, met een hoppige nasmaak.

(Oedipus / Anchor Lekker Gezellig) Bottle 330ml at home from a trade with Borrenstein, thanks Rob! Served into a chalice, , ABV 6.5%
Brown colour on the body, mostly clear, with a small and thin beige head on top, low retention.
Aroma has caramel, toffee, the spices not as pronounced as I expected.
Taste also of caramel, leaves, very faint juniper berries, toasted malts, light toffee.
Thin body, low carbonation.
Good, nothing I would seek again though.

Shared 330 ml bottle, thanks to my son Magnus. From Vinmonopolet Lakselv. The colour is more deep orange than brown. Moderate off-white head. Strong aroma of medium roast malts, hints of coffee, cannot detect the citrus peel, only a hint of spices. Roasty dry flavour too, coffee notes, hints of citrus peel and citrussy hops, again only hints of spices. Not bad, but not a beer I would buy again. finol (3539) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 16, 2017
