33cl Bottle from Vonk. Slightly hazy golden orange colour, creamy white head. Aroma of citrus, juniper, light malty, some spicy yeast, light floral, light hoppy. Flavour is dry and juicy at the same time, light malty, light yeasty, just a bit spicy, juniper, citrus, hint of lemongrass, dry bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, soft mouthfeel. Tasty.

Zlotta (2765) - Hagen, GERMANY - MAR 12, 2017
0.33 l bottle at the brewpub, bottled in November 2016. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, moderately fruity and slightly herbal-spicy aroma of orange, ginger, lemongrass and a touch of juniper. Sweetish, moderately yeasty, a bit fruity and rather herbal-spicy taste of orange peel, ginger, juniper, clove and some lemongrass, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, a little sourish, yeasty and herbal-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice, although I dont appreciate these spice beers that much.

Interesting saison, the juniper gives a nice dryness to the aroma, and a real hit in the mouth. Some spice on the finish .

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours clear gold, foamy white head. Aroma gifts you botanical, herbal spice. Taste continues with a prominent spicy floral juniper gin kick that works well with the fuzzy saison character underpinning things. Very good.

Bottle at home pours clear golden, with white head; good retention. Aroma is difficult to determine; fruity, citrus, grassy... Taste is also a difficult recognizable bunch of herbs and spices, including juniper; with a light bitter finish including a shot of orange peel zest and another shot of some ginger. Somewhat peppery mouthfeel. Its a nice beer, but I wouldnt directly associate it with gin tones.

Bottle at Oedipus. Pours a slightly hazy golden/amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma is very herbal and floral, lots of juniper, orange, white pepper, fresh saison yeast, sweet malts in nice contrast with a drying gin bitter. Over medium bitter, light sweet. Medium body, low carbonation.
