COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bienvenido a todos! ALL are welcome to our little Sinterklaas party tomorrow in the brewery taproom. Be sure to bring an extra shoe to fit a little present as we’re doing a ’Bienvenido’ Sinterklaas. If you have been a good person this year, that is... Bienvenido is a Berliner Weisse we made together with our friends from Mad Brewing from Madrid. Containing decent amounts of orange zest, as a symbol of the connection between Spain and Holland. So be nice and enjoy this fresh brew with ’appeltjes van oranje’!

33cl bottle from the Oedipus taproom and enjoyed at home in a stemmed tulip glass on 11-Aug-2017. Slightly hazy pale yellowish colour with a small white head which dissipated quickly. Aroma of citrus and wheat. Light body and medium carbonation. Taste of orange peel, lemon and wheat. Light, slightly tart - refreshing citrus heavy ale.

On tap. Nose is on lemon a lot, a bit of sourness. Very sharp and tart attack and body. Lemon is very present but overall it’s very enjoyable. Very easy to drink.

Zlotta (3425) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - MAY 22, 2017
0.33 l bottle from ’Sterk’, bottled in October 2016. Hazy, straw yellow with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sourish-fruity aroma of lemon, rhubarb and sauerkraut. Moderately sour, quite fruity taste of lemon, rhubarb, some sauerkraut and a touch of straw, followed by a short, quite tart, dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, moderately astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite okay, still not a proper Berliner Weisse, rather plainly sour (if not overly so) without complexity and finesse.
