33cl bottle at home. Appearance: chestnut brown with fairly big, off-white head Aroma: bread, caramel, dried fruits, apricot, raisins. Taste: high sweetness and medium bitterness. Notes of grains, molasses, dried fruits and raisins. Palate: medium bodied, watery to sticky texture and lively carbonation.

33cl glass from tap at Proeflokaal Mout in Groningen. Pours a dark mahogany colour with a big soapy off white head which leaves a fair amount of lacing. Aroma of grains, dark malt, raisins, plums, dark ripe fruit. Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter with a medium dry finish. Notes of nuts, raisins, dark malt, caramel, slight fruity, slight acidity. Texture is sticky, medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2017 On tap at the Oedipus taproom on 24-Sep-2017. Clear reddish brown with a medium sized off-white head which dissipates quickly. Aroma of fruit and hops. Medium body and carbonation. Light sourness, fruity with a hint if chocolate. Light sweetness with a hoppy fruit finish. Not a bad nick, but coming a little early for the autumn.

Sampled at The Watering Hole, Amsterdam. Red-brown amber color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly caramel, quite bitter at least more bitter than I expected. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Ok beer.
