Small sample from tap at Beertemple during Carinvale Brettanomyces 2014. Pours hazy dark brown without any head. Aroma has some licorice, malts, berries and tartness. Taste has some malts, licorice, and over medium sourness and a quite dry finish. medium body and carbo. I was quite impressed with the beers form Oedipus at Carnivale, but this was an exception.

Another strange brett beer from Oedipus. Quite malty and ryish, with some fruit and of course lots of brett.

PotjeBier (3735) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 29, 2014
Tap @ Beer Temple with andrejes, theJvd, joes, bierkoning & benzai. Dark brown (almost opaque) color. Aroma’s: yoghurt, lactic, dark fruit, hints of soy sauce. A bit weird retronasal, sour, a bit cherries. Flavor is moderate sour with light fruity sweetness. OK.

Sampled @ Beer Temple. Dark brown color, virtually no head. Sour aroma that to be honest doesn’t really smell fresh imo. Taste is very sour, sour fruit peel. Too sour for me, not that I can’t drink it, but I don’t like it.
