Seasonal beer Agriturismo A Belgian ale made in collaboration with Labietis with handpicked pine shoots, elderflower and lemon peel. And you can taste all of that. It’s fruity and flowery and green! BELGIAN ALE7%12IBU2017

For our Agriturismo we went back into nature to connect with the trees, ourselves and each other. We invited our Latvian friends from Labietis and together we ventured into the Dutch dunes to pick our fresh ingredients. We charged in the sun and got our hands dirty! We navigated a corn maze, slopped hogs, picked fruits, fed animals and enjoyed our trip in nature. At Labietis, they know what it’s like to celebrate the pagan lifestyle. They are known for their herby beers and are often out and about, crafting forgotten beer styles that are deeply rooted in authentic traditions. Agriturismo is the expression of our meeting. It’s a crispy beer with the smell of fresh herbs from the real outside. Handpicked by us, for you. We settled on pine shoots because it was the season and then we added elderflower and some classic lemon peel. And you can taste all of that. It’s fruity and flowery and green! Artist Matthijs Booij colored the label with his free interpretation of our nature trip as a leisurely Summer night, while also subtly encouraging nudity at all times. Thanks Matthijs.

Draft 0.25l at Helst ( The Watering Hole), Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 18.06.2017. Pour it hazy orange color with small no head. Aroma botanicals, herbal note, strange funky note. Taste little bit sourish, herbal spicy flavor, peach, apricot, yeasty, bitterish finish, interesting beer, skunky, light sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour, medium body, slick feel, lively, long finish.

Bottle at home, near-clear golden pour, with huge fluffy white head, lasting long. Aroma is wheat malts, citrus, very floral, elderflower, herbal; nice. Taste is yellow fruits and herbs, moderate to medium sweet. Strong carbo. Nice one.

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2017 33cl bottle picked up at Oedipus Taproom and enjoyed at home of 17-Nov-2017. Hazy golden amber in colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma of grains, herbs and spices. Medium body and carbonation. Taste of herbs, fruit, elderflower and pinecones. Sweet with a bittersweet finish. An odd one - a cross between a herb beer and and a farmhouse ale.

PotjeBier (3994) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 15, 2017
Bottle @ home. Mostly clear golden color. Dense white head with some retention. Aroma's: grainish, herbs, sweet spices. Retronasal it's grainish, fruity, herbal. Flavor is light moderate sweet with light bitterness and herbs. Medium bodied. Moderate bitter finish. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle at home. Hazy golden/ pale amber with white head. Sweet malts, elderflower, citrus, vegetal juices, cow parsley and massive Arnica, pine, mild spices and herbs. Moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium body, soft malty feel and soft sparkly carbonation. Very lovely rich aromas and well balanced. My love for the herbal and floral mix juices from Labietis runs deep. Can’t believe these low scores. A complete forest hike in yo face! Bier met tieten.

loscovar (1139) - Principality of SEALAND, - OCT 23, 2017
Bottle from wine shop Montpellier. Cloudy yellow color, white head. Malty citrusy, some hops. A bit messy.

rreinis (61) - Jurmala, LATVIA - OCT 22, 2017
Bottle. Golden color, hazy with minimal head. aroma is floral. medium body, taste is bit sweet and a bit piny, belgium style yeast. average beer.

suurjuust (4056) - ESTONIA - OCT 14, 2017
330ml bottle. Hazy yellow beer, big white head. Nose is estery, pine, citrus, yeast, but as the beer warms, everything gets covered by the pine. Flavor is slightly sweet and malty, estery, citrus. Finish is bitter with more pine. Aftertaste is sticky pine resin, pretty bitter. A strange experiment.

[email protected] Alehouse - very hazy pale orange beer; aroma of ripe oranges, banana, esters and spices; chewy, very sweet; medium-bodied, estery and long finish of ripe oranges and litchies; solid carbonation

Plovmand (8784) - Grindsted, DENMARK - OCT 4, 2017
Bottle provided by Borresteijn. It pours murky golden with a huge bubbly white head. Fresh lime and lemon grass in the nose. Light piney and sweet yeasty. Orange notes. The flavor is fresh spicy and malty with notes of lime and lemon grass. The elderflower gives a fresh soapy whiff to it. Not bad at all.
