Mama is our light and refreshing Pale Ale made with Centennial hops. A beer with which you can easily begin and end your day.

Although a Freudian connection jumps to mind, Mama has nothing to do with the Oedipus complex. Mama is our expression of a brew that is not complicated. Instead, she is very trustworthy, easy-going and reliable.

We developed Mama to showcase a low alcoholic beer (5% ABV) with tremendous flavor. This is a brew you come back to, time and again, just like your Mama.

Mama is dry, blond and has delicate aromas of citrus and lychee. Respectfully suitable for the assured ‘lager drinker’ – leaving the proverbial parental home for the first time – as well as the world weary adventurer who needs to fall into the loving arms of his or her Mama.

Tap @ De IJkantine, Amsterdam. Eerste reactie vrij bitter.

Bottle. Copper color short creamy head, some sediment. Pale malts and nice American hops. Pleasing finish

Draught at Bryggerifestivalen 2017. Spotty lacing from a filmy white layer. Golden body with a slight haze. Fresh orange on the nose. Citrus flavours of orange and grapefruit. Fruity bitterness to the ending. Perfect thirst quencher with session qualities. (Trondheim 05.08.2017).

Not much happening here. Tasteless Pale Ale. It hops between an american pale ale and an ipa. But yeah, not for me ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, pours a murky amber-brown with a thin head and aromas of citrus, a little fresh earth and a hint of passionfruit. Dry bitter and dry fruity, over a creamy pithy hoppiness.

5/VII/17 - 33cl bottle from Jumbo supermarket @ home - BB: 24/I/18, bottled: 24/I/17 (2017-973)

Clear deep orange beer, big irregular broken white to yellowish head, little stable. Aroma: pretty fruity, some tropical fruits, pineapple, grapefruit, bit sweetish. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, malty, quite some grapefruit, citrus, soft bitterness, fruity. Aftertaste: little bitter, grapefruit, malty, grains, sweet caramel, some peach, more grapefruit, pretty dry finish. Decent. Surprised about the low overall-score (60-something).

First I thought that there is some wheat additions for sure, but now I realize that mainly it comes from yeast and fermenting temperature - fruity, vanilla like aromas combined with fruity, green hops. Hops gives kinda green/fresh-wet hops flavor profile. Sweet to light sweet and medium to light bitter taste. Above medium body. Tasty. Mashy texture.
