COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mama is our light and refreshing Pale Ale made with Centennial hops. A beer with which you can easily begin and end your day.

Although a Freudian connection jumps to mind, Mama has nothing to do with the Oedipus complex. Mama is our expression of a brew that is not complicated. Instead, she is very trustworthy, easy-going and reliable.

We developed Mama to showcase a low alcoholic beer (5% ABV) with tremendous flavor. This is a brew you come back to, time and again, just like your Mama.

Mama is dry, blond and has delicate aromas of citrus and lychee. Respectfully suitable for the assured ‘lager drinker’ – leaving the proverbial parental home for the first time – as well as the world weary adventurer who needs to fall into the loving arms of his or her Mama.

Malts Pale Ale Malt
Hops East Kent Golding, Centennial
Yeasts English Ale Yeast

Shared with my Mama ;) Great citrus aroma and fresh taste. Pale easy body with a lot of hops defining the taste of this ale. Nice bitter (elderflower) finish.

DijkBier (373) - AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - JUN 5, 2017
UPDATED: JUN 6, 2017 Drank this already years ago, but never rated it. Bottle pours clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is hoppy and fruity, some yellow fruit (but don’t get the lychee); also malty. Taste is mildly bitter and light sweet; don’t find it so citric. Rather light bodied, with OK carbonation. But a nice ale for this only 5 ABV.

Bought this beer for my girlfriend, the woman that made me a father. It’s a true celebration of a mom: it’s a bit bitter but has some interesting fruity tones in it. Cool beer!
