COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Starting with our standard Berliner Weiße we added fresh picked elderflower from het Noorderpark in the hopback. Dry-hopped with new German hop varieties: Polaris (a bit minty) and Hallertau Blanc (white grapes flavor).

33 cl. bottle shared @ Alex and Suus’ beer tasting. Light hazy yellow with a very thin white head. Funky tart aroma with elderflower. Sour taste with a faint undefined plastic aftertaste. I’m not that familiar with Berliner Weisse as a style but I don’t think this should be part of it. Besides that it’s a really refreshing sour beer.

Bottle sample at a tasting at our place. Thanks Stas. Cloudy light blond, white ring. Mild yogurt, cereal and milk and English cake aroma, sour, tarty, cayenne pepper in the mouth. Light body, peppery aftertaste, fairly fizzy and lemony. Nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks Stas. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Lactic lemony aroma, fruity, with a bit of pickled hot peppers, sulphur. Tart flavor, lactic, lemony, with a pickled vegetables note, a bit sulphury. Light-bodied. Nice and refreshing.

Slightly hazy and pale yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is nice: fresh, fruity (lemon, lychee), candy, floral (elderflower), light malts. Taste is mainly sour, citrus/lemon, predominating the sweet or bitter. And that is my problem: sour beer is not my type of beer; but it’s not bad at all, and indeed, good for a fresh hot summer day...

Tap @ Tap Zuid, Amsterdam. Pours a hazy yellow with a white, frothy head. Aroma is mild, slightly sour. Taste is fairly sour, lemony. Mango in the aftertaste. Light, low carbonation, juice-like.
